Imho $5k or £5k may be ok for a course of treatment in hospital, but is far too expensive for use in the community. And certainly if used prophylactically.

Of all the dam companies out there, this is one of the ones that gets a mention. Bring on the journey to a quid and beyond

The trouble here is that some of the posters are invested in alternatives that they are desperately attempting to prove are the most significant Before investing I cited GDR/ODX and SNG as: ability to test in significantly large volumes 50 million a year GDR for the presence of COVID19. ODX for an antibody in significant volumes 50 million plus per year and SNG as a significant relief by adding to the bodies natural defence mechanisms and capable of restoring a patient to health ( but not a vaccine/cure all ) AFTER this there are the Vaccine producers but don't expect them this side of Christmas in any meaningful numbers. As always the choice of investment is up to the individual but there is no need to slight others and as their choice of investment in alternatives might also be providing accurate testing and hopefully relief even if only mentally. We are in the middle of this and far from the end.As always DYOR

The future prophylactic effect of this could be huge. Any small positive could result in stock piling for future corona virus out breaks , never mind the massive use it would get now

The oxygen level issue you would think our drug and mode of delivery would be best at dealing with

We could of course get inconclusive hospital results and then amazing home trial results? Imagine if hospital results are good then with home trials to follow you would expect even better results being that it is given earlier. Great to hold 70p today expecting two RNS this week home trials starting and a TR1 to confirm holdings, too many late trades again. Could also get confirmation all 100 patients have been dosed in hospital trial, loads of updates to come.

Chances of that though? Safety is highly likely to be ok given previous trial results with COPD. Effectiveness unknown but do they need to achieve a hugely positive result or just show some effectiveness to get approval to the next stage? Surely if it’s safe and shows some benefit? But if positive impact wow it will be huge!

I have been consistent, I expect between 80 and £1 before the result. Then clearly it depends on the results and if positive, how positive. The latter would mean £3 at least very quickly and then after that it depends what happens as there are a number of possible scenarios. If a negative result again there are some different scenarios but a straight negative would mean below 20p

All just IMHO....

In all the comments it appears damage to the lung is the main problem which you would think this product would be best placed to limit or neutralize the issue

It was a longer piece on SNG than I expected.
I am very pleased.
Well done team.

Strange that the 'control' with the Oxford vaccine, was deemed worthy of mention,
- but not so for the Southampton trial.

I think we can be very pleased with that report!
Excellent that the programme included those choices.
Thanks Panorama.

I'm sure the nurse administering actually says to Kay would you like to take 'this experimental drug' now. No placebo mentioned.

It would be truly wonderful if SNG001 works, if it does then things will move incredibly quickly. Fincapp estimated a course of treatment would cost circa $5k so you are looking at a multi billion pound market. A takeover or licensing deal to gain scale would be almost inevitable IMO. Very exciting on every level imaginable.

If I was a betting man SNG001 looks like the best bet. The oxford programmes all looked weak.

It basically looked like a simple nebuliser can sort this.

TBF they should have mentioned a placebo. But I’m not comolaining

Well I might be biased but I think an independent observer would have said that SNG001 had the best chance of having an effect on the disease in th short term. Definitely good publicity IMHO.

Kay made somewhat of a miraculous improvement if that was placebo. The main man seems confident.

...yes, 3 times she said "was" - and she'd been admitted to hospital, only the day before.
