What was I saying this morning about posters from other bb,s going onto different boards and tipping shares.Someone recommended mtfb on a bb I read and hold shares on, put it on my watchlist but didn't go any further.Today currently up 380% since this morning. That hurts, but you can't buy everything.Apols for o/t.

I can see this rising into the close to circa 75p in anticipation of the report on Panorama tonight. GLA

If the fda pushed through remdesivir and its patchy 'success' I think we'll be fast tracked in pretty short order to be used as a prophylactic at first hint of contraction of cv19

The potential for SNG001 is immense. If this study (SG016) is positive or even if there is a suggestion of benefit with reducing viral load, then it is likely to be effective in earlier phase of the covid disease (and hence the extension to home trial)
Real potential, and should be studied later on, is if it has 'prophylactic' benefits, whereby used as early as possible (first onset of suspected symptoms)...similar to some cold remedies such as Vick's First Defense (which for the record is useless) ...in this scenario SNG001 will need to be backed up by trial data

Auphil, thanks for posting as its an interesting article.

However, Im hoping that SNG001 mitigates or even better blocks the more complicated secondary consequences of infections that are discussed.

To reuse their quote........ “Timing with this disease is absolutely critical,”

I assume that Link and Lansdowne manage funds for individual investors. Surely it’s those individuals who decide if, when and how much to buy / sell. The manager just selects the target company.
Some Lansdowne SNG selling may well be to cover losses elsewhere

white123, does it really matter?
We all should have our own strategy and should adapt it based on 'facts' not machinations of a BB poster. Some are quite 'credible' here and may be part of the info needed to adjust ones strategy.

The rest of the posts tend to be noise, but has some comical/entertaining value during this lockdown

don`t know if this link has already been posted, worth a read tho as it gives some detail of the complexity of treatment and challenges being faced. not sure how much SNG solves the riddle tho.

IF I am right and the average Link holding cost is 50p then 75p is a 50% turn which is rather nice compared to a loss of 90% is they had cleared out at the trough (or should that be nadir:))

Nothing wrong with a few good pumps followed by a massive dump.

Certainly clears the head in the morning

Let me get this right?

You are talking openly of selling at 75p?
The stock is extremely iliquid and any amount of large selling (I assume you hold a hundred thousand shares?) will send the share price crashing.

So lets assume its just 100k shares you hold. The market will not accept them all and reduce the NMS drastically, this will further compound the drop as more of your 75p sellers emerge..

So what is your real sell price?

Why are you even considering selling if SNG is such a sure thing?
Unless you believe that by not trading you are doing something wrong?
My advise, would be this.... Look up the word "Investing" and see if it makes sense.

In the meantime spare a thought for those who you intend to trap at higher price whilst you "Sell to bank profits" and then rub their noses in it when you announce you are now back in at a lower price.

Im not anti SNG... In fact if I were then I wouldnt be holding myself..
I am anti pump and dumpers though who know nothing of investing yet seek to give advise.

Why sell at 75? If we head up this afternoon and we have the tv prog tonight then there will be more buying tomorrow I would have thought. I hope to see 75p by close today.

'If I have it eight Woody bought most of the holding at round about 50p so Link will be big sellers at 75 ish'

Disagree, they've held on this long which says to me believe the treatment will be successful. In my opinion they'll sell into the huge liquidity positive trial results will generate, otherwise why wouldn't they have already sold?

Hi bmnsa,
I would assume it is totally irrelevant for SNG what the Dow is doing.
If SNG is found by US retail investors to be having potential than they will buy in, independently if the overall market is red or blue....

Fair enough - it's your board.

You planning to sell any at 75+?

I am trying to decide - my sense is that there will be a push on up and then a pull back given the large potential sellers - do we know what Woody paid for his stake originally?
