Everyone is long....that is the simple truth and there are no buyers left to buy. The technical situation in the stock is not that good.

I think the moral is that sadly it is all about patience. The real money will be made here if the result is positive. However, of course that is an unquantifiable risk so the sensible investor will derisk ahead of the results especially if you are at a profit. As I keep saying I expect the price to rise into the results although it may take a substantial proportion of the 6 or 7 weeks before that happens. Also as I keep on saying I will be selling at least a third of my holding ahead of the results whatever the level, although I expect the price to be in the 80-100p region at that point.

TPI, i called it when u had sold!!!

Anyway can never begrudge a profit. I traded NCYT before yesterdays rise ( and was happy that the profit i made would have been similar had I held and sold yesterday. As for today, different story and very sad about the additional profit I could have made, but better than a smack in the face. I have learnt my lesson from having 6 figure profits being wiped out within 4 days during the TMT bubble

A lot of the new shares in the fund raising will be EIS or VCT so likely to be in sticky hands. You will always get some indigestion but the volumes have been so high the churn will be quite quick IMHO.
