wow, still an old dream of mine, running London and Boston and of course NY.

Are you under 3 hours? I was a middle distance runner, but not great, I just love it though.

Hahaha I have been on this for a while now. This share seems to defy usual convention. Any other firm mentions a whiff of covid and it takes off whereas we have sputtered, stalled and fallen.

Said plenty of times I'm ride or die with this share.

honestly, nobby
don't you feel it deeply in your old arthritic bones, that strong firm conviction that Easter egg surprise will be a 73p share price (80p is by next Friday guaranteed) ?

Together with drug development company Synairgen, researchers at the University of Southampton are trialling an inhaled drug that could prevent Covid-19 worsening in those most at risk.
Experts at the University of Southampton are also modelling the effectiveness and timing of Covid-19 interventions for different regions of the world. The research is helping the World Health Organization and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control with response efforts.

I should say that timbo also is involved in Avacta so if he reads this, he would pass an opinion too?

Royal Albert

I actually know a lot about Avacta for various reasons and I was a shareholder until last year. I attended a research day about a year ago when the price was in the 40s and as a result sold everything. I haven't looked in detail at the deal today but my instant reaction would be that they are a little late to the game.

My basic summation about the company is that I don't think the management progressed the affimer technology quick enough. One of my gripes was that they had never put one into a human and until they do, there is a risk. I have lost touch whether they have done it yet. Obviously that is irrelevant for developing a test and I was always
moderately impressed with the assay side of the business.

So a somewhat brief overview and I wouldn't buy from my experience but as I say I haven't investigated the deal properly so don't necessarily listen to what I say.

All IMHO and DYOR...

Would you short a stock +600% in 6 months pending results of a trial? I would! But I’m long and positive, I’m a bull on this not a bear. Just saying that I get asked questions all day long why is this up....why is this down...sometimes people read too much into it.
