dealy,

”is the company really only worth 9m quid ? takeover by Frasers or Next - any chance ?”

It’s worth less than £9m! The last accounts showed that liabilities exceeded assets by £41m!

And since then they’ve burnt c. £1.5m a week!

Insolvency and Administration will wipe out all existing SDRY shareholders including Julian Dunkerton, why do you think the institutional shareholders are falling over themselves to SELL !!

Better to get SOMETHING back rather than lose EVERYTHING

GELN may just help recover your losses. Cannot see a future of SDRY coming into the summer.

JD could make an offer after the equity has gone to virtually zero -

Its a shame but these markets are in such bad shape -

Never seen so many delistings on the table -

ICAC have u anything to pawn or thought of a loan to double down in the hope it is the bottom?

Save a bit back for therapy !

Try not to cry it's depressing enough looking at the chart.

I guess this has already been discussed but reading the RNS from 28 March it reads to me like JD is willing to buy the company, but only at "very material discount to the current share price".

If he were to make an offer in the "conventional way" it would need to be at least as high as he's paid in the previous 12 months. Does anyone know how high that is? I see he acquired shares on 4 May 2023, when the market price was about 80p. I think raising the funds for a bid at 80p is unrealistic now, as it probably was when it was originally mooted.

Fully underwriting a deeply discounted share issue which most people won't touch with a bargepole (due to it being conditional on a de-listing) comes across to me as a sneaky way of circumventing the rules to obtain the vast majority of the company at a much lower price. Sort of thing you might expect to see on an AIM stock.

Yes, the shareholders may get a chance to vote on it, but voting against you'll likely get nothing - turkeys voting for Christmas comes to mind!

Alternatively, JD makes a low offer a month from now, when the 80p no longer applies?
