Gold price rising, working mineproduction output increasing in value, bank account bulging. Becoming a very profitable operation with absolutely zero market recognition. Only one way to go from here imho.

I'm sorry but his interests are clearly securely ring-fenced in a blind trust ran at arm's length by his completely independent children.

I imagine Trump, sorry I mean his family, of course, not him, will be heavily invested in Gold !

Which media, juju ? All of it ? Or can we only rely on Trump's Twitter account ! :-)
It's entertaining, I suppose, on a daily basis, if it wasn't so crucial.

The gold price rise is reflecting the weakening in USD. A number of factors are sending USD weaker, including the Trump team actively talking it down (and talking the EUR up).

But of course Japan, Germany and China that are the currency manipulators...

Re-reading various bits of news it seems Stratex have been quite involved along the way too, perhaps just because Bahar expects them to cough up funds for any issues, but it does at least appear as if Bob's advice was being sought, for instance on the potential for extending the operation.

This led me to wondering, with Bob essentially gone, who are now the key, hands-on geology experts at Stratex, given Marcus is more finance / board management?

Making the U-turn back to pure explorer only really makes sense if Stratex has proven exploration expertise available in-house.

I had a reply from Stratex yesterday........

They aim to update the market 'shortly'

The mine continues to perform 'very satisfactory'

They did not deem the Thani Stratex discovery worthy of an announcement? I can think of some companies that would have milked a near surface discovery for all it's worth!

No new public presentations planned at the moment.

No advice intended

The newsroom here is not quite upto Ariana's, but when it kicks into action, it could well surprise a few. Not quite the news blackout many imagined from our new CEO though!!

Juju, I'm not going to convince you, but I believe his strike rate compared to the lowly sector average was pretty good.

Bob came across as a nice guy, was always happy to respond to any enquiries. Ultimately, he turned a fortune into a much smaller fortune. As for Mr Englebrect, difficult to judge to date but we know small shareholders are of no consequence

Bob was not a good geologist . Where is the evidence

I for one would like to hang onto Altintepe. Nothing better than a cash generator when your in the exploration game, not to mention in a rising gold market. Why many didn't rate Bob as a CEO, he was a first class geologist, so I believe our position as an explorer is weakened by not having that talent in house. Another reason not to become a pure exploration play.

STI geologists have a big record of failure . Even Altintepe had established gold find before they came on board. They are great at finding muddy worthless holes at great expense and taking bonus for doing it .
They will get a poor price in a sale and we should all revolt and demand a distribution
