Agree Lumi but Don has those magnificent Benito expressions and pouts and don't they love him for it down the Appalachians

Gold will probably see upward volatility as it gets worse.

The narcism is obvious but megalomania?

No but they are going to take POG down one more time, before the inevitable strong unmitigated move north - possibly second half of this year. Trump's barmy protectionism may start to unfold and that's a dead cert to hit sentiment. Then there could be his impeachment late this year ? LOL ! A complete narcissistic megalomaniac Walter Mitty with his own invented reality. Could not make it up but will be great for POG eventually.

Juju I've run out of cash for now after a buying spree this week here. As you say the silence is infuriating but I get the feeling the dam will burst soon. Well maybe in the next 8 weeks or so ..... Why rush none of the directors are invested after all

Tadtech I hope you make a better call on this one:-

As many of you know I meet most of the companies I invest in so I have a very clear understanding of why RRR is rising and will continue to rise. I met Andrew Bell twice in December.

Andrew Bell is all that is wrong with Aim wrapped up in a suit.

Charles,

"If they wrote back to me and said they cant engage in any correspondence with shareholders at the moment".

This may be only because Claire is on maternity leave.

It is all open to speculation at the moment. I have still not had a proper answer to my email sent in early January. If they wrote back to me and said they cant engage in any correspondence with shareholders at the moment it would give the game away and certainly indicate some corporate activity of a sensitive nature. Saying nothing may appear rude but gives nothing away.I just cant imagine a CEO of Marcus's calibre simply ignoring shareholders and I am not alone so my money is on a deal that will be price sensitive. Most likely linked to Altintepe which I believe is doing much better than just meeting targets.

Stratex have not had contract problems before in Turkey as far as we know. Inlice and Oksut were both OK so I would say this was low risk.

I hope we are not selling Altintepe.

I hope we are not buying GRL. Something really does look like it is happening in the market with GRL, and that would not be Stratex as they would have to declare themselves.

Thani Stratex does look good but they will need a lot of cash to progress so if we have money burning a hole in the pocket then that would be a good place to fund and prevent dilution.

Stratex staff will want their own projects to work on.

Hopefully their Altintepe contract is more watertight that Red Rock's El Limon deal eh, which I see has all gone to arbitration.

An Altintepe sale and a buyout of GRL does not look out of the question. Other idea with Thani Stratex looking to float, could Stratex and Thani merge into one? In truth the Stratex development portfolio looks very poor for a company 10 years listed. Thani's looks good.

If nothing like that is happening, then I guess they're about to get a production distribution cheque.

It does seem there is a communication blackout at Stratex. I emailed two days ago and have not had a reply, given my contact is usually responsive I can only conclude there must be a very good reason.

Next week is the self imposed 3 month time-line, given by the new CEO on the 3rd November concerning the Altintepe gold mine & 1 year cash distribution.

I would not entirely rule out a sale. I am convinced something material is going on behind the scenes nonetheless.

Interesting that the GRL website says 'under construction'. Looks like they are going to promote the company.

Kingivor they have certainly proved that there is a continuos gold system there and they can't afford to drill deep as they have said, but they have also intimated with hole 3 results that there is better gold the further down that they go and so I'm thinking that they have undertaken this tiny drill programme with the specific intention of attracting outside funds by either selling or to j/v the project.
I see GRL share price is recovering it's earlier losses from the sell on news investors and is now strongly up. I'd imaging this is on further considered inspection of the results which weren't that bad for just 3 holes and 700 odd meters of drilling.
