Yes, if the market does not believe in the management then the sum of the parts (cash and projects) will be less than the market value. There are many companies like this. There are also a few where the sum of the parts is less than the market value, where the market is optimistic on the managements ability to create value (do their job). A lot will depend on how Marcus demonstrates his abilities to us all.

How would the market see a sale of the only worth while asset? Taking into consideration the frivolous waste of proceeds from the oksut sale and no return to shareholders, their vast admin costs, I would see an share price valuation of considerrably less than cash in bank

I think Bahar will want Stratex to stay and help develop their recent Turkish mine acquisition.

There is a case to say that a partnership between a capable mining company and an experienced consulting geologist explorer can be good for both parties. So far it seems to have worked well, Stratex came up with the goods on the site discovery and analysis and Bahar have done the business in building the mine. It is possible that both are happy and will think of building on the relationship in the future where it is mutually beneficial.

I have no real idea what is going on of course, but I can't see anything to suggest that Bahar want us to stay or leave. I expect that both options are possible at the right price.

Altintepe is worth 3 or 4 times the current market cap but it would be a miracle if we got it.

I'd say Stratex are in a pretty decent position. The mine's producing and they don't have any huge debts set against earnings like most newly producing mines. We can sit it out and cash distribution will come....eventually !!
The proceeds of sales thus far are in a joint account and we have funds owing to us and then when payments do start feeding through they should be regular and incremental with time and more so as we move onto stage 2 and 3 production. We have no need to sell but I'm sure that Bahar will want us out and they can keep the mine and its proceeds all nice and quiet for themselves. If a mine sale is being discussed then I expect a top of the tree deal especially with the mid to longer term gold price looking punchy and mine life expected to be extended over time.

I am not expecting much more than $12m so hopefully I won't be disappointed ! Any more is a bonus to me. Depends on how desperate Marcus is to get on with other projects.

Disappointing that since Marcus arrived there has been such a derth of news and an information blackout coupled with a refusal of directors to invest a bean in the company they are in stewardship of, and because of this the bb has become a sounding board for foreign politics :-((

Have to agree with corguv on Trump. I think he is a classic case of " careful what you wish for ". He will be shown to be more of a fraud than his predecessors. Draining the swamp ? Yeah and refilling it with Goldman Sachs execs. Hardly breaking the hold of the Mob Banksters on US politics.
Not worth falling out with each other, though, over him.

Obama became the executive order king because Congress opposed Obama merely for the sake of opposing Obama. Trump ought not to have such issues and if he does, that is when the trouble really starts and where Gold prices may benefit. Debt ceiling negotiations are likely to be a contentious issue come March.

Clan - one thing you can say about Trump, he acts according to his word. I have not seen that in a politician for many a year. But from what I am seeing, people don't seem to like his directness. Perhaps they would prefer to be crooked by lying globalist puppets
