22/7/2016 15:53 | And I'm Observer007. Oops! | georgesorrow
22/7/2016 15:43 | Come now George,I'm Spartacus !!! | exbiz
22/7/2016 14:58 | Observer, it would be entertaining for all us 'bashers' to know exactly who you think the 'multi alias' entities are. Care to share your thoughts? I would like to know who else I might be in your rogues gallery for a start. It would be a way to while away some time as we all wait for upcoming news. | georgesorrow
22/7/2016 14:03 | Ryan If you go to the new thread there are links to the project and the recent presentation, they commenced drilling a month or so ago and yes I do expect news on this way before year end. They are drilling in a high grade location. One chap I spoke with thinks the project is particularly valuable which is why outside investors put in $3m. No good trying to talk positively here with all the multi account bashers operating. I am only here to p@ss them off. | observer007
22/7/2016 13:43 | It was so exciting that AGA pulled out of it completely. | corguv
22/7/2016 13:26 | Observer do when are they are due? You said "upcoming" by that do you mean this year ? thanks | ryanandbethanjones
22/7/2016 09:16 | In respect of Thani Stratex, outside entities deemed it fit to inject $3.5m just recently. That is a total vote of confidence & I look forward to the upcoming drill results being carried out on a exciting gold trend. Of course all the multi alias accounts created by individuals that did not sell out at 10p in 2012 will continue to trash no matter what. Useless investors the lot of them! | observer007
22/7/2016 08:49 | Clan create another account again. See how long 'til you're sussed | steve1905
22/7/2016 08:46 | In the 2012 Annual Report they said they were going to drill Pandora in 2013. So only 3 years late with massive dilution on the project and no drill results yet either. | sicilian_kan
22/7/2016 08:38 | Can anyone remind Me when news from Thani stratex is due? Thanks | ryanandbethanjones
21/7/2016 21:42 | Bahar have been particularly good at delivering on their promises. STI - never | juju44
21/7/2016 21:30 | Every serious producer of no matter what product keeps track of what's being produced and when. It's not like they record that kind of info to please shareholders it's essential for the business. The information is there. That we don't have it is not because Bahar intentionally tries to frustrate STI('s share price) it's just that it's not important enough for Bahar. It's a cultural thing. They don't say no to Bob's production status request(s), they promise to deliver and eventually will (probably a lot later than expected). We'd better get used to that, their way of doing business differs from ours. | greedfear
21/7/2016 19:29 | Charles I think you are being rather hasty with your assumptions concerning Bahar, remember the Q1 production update was on the 18th. It is the 22nd tomorrow, clearly following your recent contact with Bob he both aware an update is due and seems to be working on it. I also take the view that they MIGHT consider selling their 45% stake in the mine, but only at the right price. At the current gold price Stratex could get about £50m over the next 8 years from the project, I have based that at a AISC of $660oz. IF they decided to sell a 20% discount would be about par in my view. History suggests, when selling assets, they are pretty tough negotiators. I think we simply need to calm down and wait for the news, they exceeded expectations in Q1 so in the summer months I would expect another decent set of numbers. Hard to believe Stratex is still a £10m market cap company nonetheless. | tadtech
21/7/2016 16:22 | As of this morning Bob is alive and kicking and I sense he is more frustrated than us at the delay in getting production data for shareholders. He assures me that Stratex intends to update the market as soon as possible. Reading between the lines - and this is purely my own interpretation, Stratex is probably suffering because it is a London Stock Exchange listed company working in partnership with an UNLISTED Turkish company (Bahar) - with Bahar being the MAJORITY shareholder. Not only this, Altintepe is Stratex's ONLY source of income so strategically very important to them and of course, Bahar knows this and may be using it to their advantage. I can imagine Bahar saying 'Bob we have better things to do than provide your shareholders with production figures. If you really want us to put some resource into it we will charge you for the service.' So put that in your pipe and smoke it! If this barrier continues to impede the flow of information to the market it will, imho, stifle the share price until Stratex is seen to be receiving a regular pattern of payments from the sale of gold produced. Whilst this may be acceptable to some shareholders it's their money on the table and some might find it less so. Imho, if the partners can't iron out their differences and agree on a civilised way forward the best thing that could happen is for Bahar to buy Stratex out. If that happened it would free the board up to concentrate on Africa with a huge wad of cash, some of which I would hope would come our way. The amount, going on projected earnings, would likely exceed £20m. It would not surprise me if the idea hadn't crossed Bob's mind. This is just speculation on my part so please don't think I know any more than any other shareholder. My imagination is working overtime but - it's a possibility. | charles clore
21/7/2016 15:16 | I think Bob must have been rounded up in the turkish purge, hence no update ! | luminoso
21/7/2016 14:24 | Think its time Erdogan locked up Bob for incompetence and wealth prevention | juju44
21/7/2016 12:32 | More than 50,000 arrested by the secret police including judges, teachers and university lecturers and anyone else accused of being Gulenist by the Erdogan regime. A very sad and disturbing state of affairs and one which looks to be spiralling ever downwards as the country now looks ever insular as it distances itself from Russia, US and now Europe while Erdogan takes on the mantle of President/Dictator. Corguv please don't ask Observer any questions that he clearly doesn't have the mental aptitude to answer. He has his own board to post on where the sun always shines yet he chooses to appear on this board spouting his paranoid nonsense, to engage is to encourage, if you ignore him he will flit back to Tad's board and they can discuss undervalued and under the radar between themselves. | exbiz
21/7/2016 12:27 | Yes, the latter is an unchallengeable executive president, which is what Erdogan has just declared himself under the state of emergency. I'm not at all concerned that it will affect Altintepe in any way. But I think it's very bad news for Turkey. I could be 'rounded-up' in Turkey just for posting this. | georgesorrow
21/7/2016 12:05 | I don't see the basis for this idea that Turkey could be "slipping towards civil war". Many civilians in Instanbul went out onto the streets to protest the coup attempt and even the democratic oppostion to Erdogan condemned it. Hardly the actions of a populace ready to rise up against it's own democratically elected government. There is a big difference between a prime minister with an autocratic style and an actual autocrat. | romeike
21/7/2016 09:56 | Observer Simple Questions so you can shine and promote Stratex without slagging everyone off : 1) where is the RNS clarifying Stratex share of Altintepe ? 2) Where is the RNS clarifying the result of the Court Case and thus mining areas and thus Mine life.? 3) where is RNS giving details of the increases in Mining and de-commissioning costs at Altintepe.? 4) How much cash is left in Stratex Bank taking account of expenditure and burdensome Admin costs of around £175,000 a month.? 5) Where is the promised investment in a near term producer in West Africa ? | corguv |
