14/7/2016 11:34 | shortarm - it doesn't look like a buy but if you say it is, then it is. p.s. Bob, get that friggin' news out pronto or people will start thinking Altintepe has closed down! | charles clore
14/7/2016 11:27 | 250k at 2.2 is a buy. | shortarm
14/7/2016 10:11 | A little breather today is good. Nothing goes up in a straight line as they say. A nice zig zag action right up to 5p would do just fine. | goldendigger
14/7/2016 09:11 | This was overbought and needed a correction.Happy to oblige. | longshanks
14/7/2016 09:09 | Next someone will be telling us this was overbought and needed a correction. | charles clore

14/7/2016 08:26 | MM's playing games, those trades at 2.47 were buys not sells yet they drop the price. Think they are off fishing today. | simonparker5
13/7/2016 19:07 | Tadtech' nice thread, well done. I' m optimistic value will out as the focus during the early stage bull run is clearly on the producers. What Stratex must now do is plan how they use the coming 3-5 year bull period to run parallel exploration activity to feed the blue sky punters / speculators dreams; proving up new Jorc resource and at the same time, providing some returns to shareholders via modest dividends. Altintepe should enable this. There should be enough in Thani Stratex , West Africa, Goldstone etc. to spin a story as a production revenue backed company with great exploration and new resource potential. It's how they do this that will determine where 5,10, 15 or 50p is the high we will see in the coming years. We're all being given a second chance.....Bob , it's an opportunity to sort out your and our pensions! | highly geared
13/7/2016 10:56 | Goldendigger, Fair enough. Good.I had the wrong impression . Will maintain hopefulness ! | dogwalker
13/7/2016 10:07 | Not much buying so far today. But if I remember correctly the upward spikes of the past few days have appeared in the afternoons, around the opening of the US markets. Maybe someone over there has realised the US/TSX precious metal stocks have gone to the moon and has found a seriously undervalued UK explorer/producer - this one! | charles clore
13/7/2016 09:51 | No delay really. The update should be any day this week or my money is on Monday. | goldendigger
13/7/2016 09:17 | Yes, let's hope the unsettling delay is only good news. | dogwalker
13/7/2016 08:43 | Morning Tad, Not long to wait now for some serious action hopefully! :))) | goldenshare888
13/7/2016 07:40 | Morning all, gold up overnight, I think we could be in for a interesting day, did anyone notice the chart break-out yesterday? Broken through a well established trading range. Not much resistance to 3.5p either! | tadtech
13/7/2016 07:39 | It seems that the mine was so well planned and constructed and very little tweaking was required to get it working at full efficiency from day 1 - otherwise we would have been informed of problems and deficiencies. Bahar is a quality operator but Stratex has to take some credit for their expertise. I agree with Tads estimate and look forward to reading the Q2 production report which should have us popping champagne corks imho | charles clore
13/7/2016 07:29 | I agree and am holding plenty for 10p+ I don't think it will take as long this time btw!! We may just see a BIG SURGE very soon if GOLD attacks $1400 area and goes on through heading for it's old high of c $1900. I envisage $2000+ this year! :))) | goldenshare888
13/7/2016 07:25 | If you wanna make money you gotta have gold stocks in your portfolio and "Stratex International" is one for me. I bought 250k so far but want to double that and will watch this happen again, look at the "Stratex International" chart, what happened at last gold bull market. 1.5p to 10p | the_sage1
13/7/2016 06:43 | Tadtech You are not far out with your assumptions that STI will get over £2m for 6 months production once they have finally concluded the numbers in my view either. Was reading on the AAU thread, someone posted they thought the AISC would work out to be $650-$700oz, makes your $660 pretty ball park. So STI could get £4m cash in 12 months v the current EV of only £9m. The rating here remains ridiculous, plenty of upside ahead. | observer007
12/7/2016 20:19 | I reckon the mine has generated around $30m for Q1 & Q2. The mine generated $14.3m in Q1 based on an average gold price of $1165, let us assume they repeat the production number and move the average gold price to $1250 for Q2, would make circa $15.3m So Stratex would get 20% of circa $30m less costs. So what are the costs?? Cash costs are stated at $560oz Estimate for closure/future development $100oz* making AISC @ $660oz On that basis I see no reason why Stratex should not receive around $2.8m (£2.25m) cash for H1 production. Makes the £11m market cap look rather low! * Based on total mine production target of 280,000oz if $100oz was added to the cash costs, making the AISC $660oz, it would generate $28m to cover for future development of new zones and closure costs. The mine cost $40m to build as a guide. DYOR etc | tadtech
12/7/2016 20:05 | Nice to finish up today when gold is down. | goldendigger
12/7/2016 17:18 | Bob's still working on the year 1863 update. The 2016 update will be published in 2525. | greedfear |
