21/7/2016 09:42 | "looks to me that the support for the Government after the coup both from supporters and non supporters is strong" Hello? Are we supposed to be reassured in some way by this nonsense? I too cannot wait for the next production update!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or should that be the first statement we have actually had on opex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ![]() georgesorrow
21/7/2016 00:03 | So what, looks to me that the support for the Government after the coup both from supporters and non supporters is strong. Had the coup succeeded things would be exceptionally different. No wonder all the multi-alias 'suspects' continue to post here, problem is, for you lot at least, no-one is interested in the garbage you post anymore. There are new buyers entering the fray, spotting the exceptionally undervalued nature of this company. I cannot wait for the next production update bring it on !!!!!!!!! | ![]() observer007
20/7/2016 23:14 | Well there you go. Turkey is now in a state of emergency. | ![]() shoggoth
20/7/2016 13:59 | Can't imagine Bob being much of a negotiator! He may be ok ordering extra special sauce for his kebab though. :)) | ![]() goldenshare888
20/7/2016 10:50 | Bahar now hold all the aces. If Bob has to negotiate he will get raped | ![]() juju44
20/7/2016 10:48 | "He is pressing for a quarterly update". Fills me with with confidence on Baha's intentions | ![]() steve1905
20/7/2016 09:12 | Boom, 750k bought by a bargain hunter.Fool :-) | ![]() shortarm
20/7/2016 07:11 | He may have also forgotten to buy his ticket, renew his passport or pack his pipe and slippers of course! Any of the above could have delayed his trip! He could also be conducting a personal review of Kebab outlets or Turkish Bath houses! LOL :))) NB. I don't think Bob's involvement will stop my target of 10p plus being hit this year! :))) | ![]() goldenshare888
20/7/2016 06:29 | Perhaps the delay was in trying to get a train to the airport, scuppered me a good few times! | ![]() danieldruff2
20/7/2016 05:36 | > got delayed for obvious reasons hxxp://www.esenbogaa Ankara international airport seems to be operating just fine. The more plausible explanation is that Bob is just useless. | ![]() shoggoth
19/7/2016 23:08 | Bob emailed that he was due to fly to Turkey yesterday for a major project review but got delayed for obvious reasons and is pressing for a quartely update. | goldendigger
19/7/2016 14:42 | Observer - these are the same people I have been debating this company with for many years, I can't remember how long. And they have not always been negative. I want everyone to be happy and whilst I realise this isn't possible I would not dismiss what they say because if I were to put my negative cap on it would make sense to me. But if I felt that way I would probably sell and move on. By the way if I had to hazard a wild guess as to when the company is most likely to issue an update on production I would say tomorrow or some time next week. Would someone like to start a sweepstake? | ![]() charles clore
19/7/2016 13:58 | Charles Clore Not sure why you try to reason with these bitter individuals that have hung around this thread since they failed to bank profits when the shares went to 10p in quarter one 2012. These same individuals have been spouting the same clap trap when the shares were 1.25, 1.35p, 1.45p, 1.55p, 1.65p, 1.75p, 1.85p, 1.95p, 2.05p, 2.15p, 2.25p, 2.5p and will be talking the same rubbish when the share price is 5p+ This is going back to the heights of 2012, make no mistake, 476m in issue, at 10p the market cap would be £47m, MARL are currently at £70m market cap. Country risk indeed LOL | ![]() observer007
19/7/2016 13:17 | CC the worrying thing about Turkey is that a lot of Middle East observers are of the view that the country could be about to slide into a civil war, I pray for the population that doesn't happen and from a Stratex viewpoint that would increase country risk quite significantly, remember back to Centamin share price and Egypt a few short years back. I would love to be positive and see the share price in double figures but unfortunately to coin your phrase 'the ducks are all lined up' right here and now. We are already in full production and we have a much higher gold price than anticipated but the share price is not responding accordingly down to one reason. | ![]() exbiz
19/7/2016 12:46 | 'No effect on mine and production' was the companys' immediate response to Friday's events. While the coup was quashed the events are likely just the beginning of troubles in a deeply divided country unfortunately. | ![]() exbiz
19/7/2016 11:55 | I find your actions very contrarian.Buying whilst being uber negative. Don't understand so shall leave it their but will observe your attempt to overplay the unstable region bit after confirmation no effect on mine and production. | ![]() cliveas
19/7/2016 11:20 | Just bought some more " Stratex International" Why does no-one mention they had £2.5m in cash as well in May this year. It says so in the header. I like it that "Anglogold" have 10%, they are surely good investors. | ![]() the_sage1
19/7/2016 11:09 | Charles do you not perceive production and income return figures as important news to a gold producer with an operational mine nine months into its production life cycle ? | ![]() exbiz
19/7/2016 11:07 | Clive I add as if they ever do release figures on production and hence profit margin then the potential for upside here is very good in a strong gold market, unfortunately though as is evidenced by the abysmal performance of management on garnering news from Bahar on production and any sort of profit we do but struggle on while peers accelerate away from us and as unfortunately demonstrated by the sad issues in Turkey at the end of last week we are now working in an ever more unstable region where we need to press ahead as quickly as we can. When the day comes that the share price does rise significantly I shall crystallise my gains as soon as I can as the poor management here will guarantee our day in the sun is short lived. | ![]() exbiz
19/7/2016 11:05 | In my view the timing of the production number is not particularly important when one considers the company as an investment proposition. Stratex is undervalued plain and simple, possibly due to investor ignorance of the company and its assets/revenues. Poor PR does not help but Stratex management are not rampers! I am convinced the AISC at the mine will be declared close to $650oz (we know the cash cost is $560oz) It is interesting to note that another Turkish producer listed on the TSX also shows AISC at $650oz. So consider the AISC at circa $650, gold price north of $1300, multiply by 35,0000oz annual production and you will find that Stratex's initial 20% should equate to north of £4m per year. So £4m free incoming cash verses the current market cap of £10m. The investment proposition here is a no brainer given the sector is returning to fashion. | ![]() tadtech
19/7/2016 10:46 | Ah, shows 10:08 on mine (abroad) | ![]() shortarm
19/7/2016 10:42 | Observer, I'm assuming you're labelling me as one of the 'multi alias' posters? Wrong. As for your comment regarding any delay, wrong again. I contacted Bob a few weeks ago, regarding the previous altintepe update, suggesting that some clarity on the details were needed. In fact, I remember him stating in an interview after the release that further detail would be issued in the near future. He acknowledged "an update is long overdue". Nothing to do with figures for the the second quarter. | ![]() steve1905 |
