You said...I think a minimum for breakout would be around 40%...

What price does that translate into?

Lots of people taking small profits but the trend is definitely up :-)

Would be slightly ironic if it turned out that nothing less than a military coup was needed to bring attention to this Cinderella share!

I think a minimum for breakout would be around 40%, still pleased with this rise though. Let's see if it survives the usual hard sell down to 2p. Of course the folks doing that risk missing out on quite the rise later down the line.

Nope - someone doesn't like the price up there. It's coming back down!

Observer - the question in most peoples' minds is not how much the company is, or will shortly be, worth. It's more like how will the cash thrown off by Altintepe translate into a win-win for the company AND its shareholders? A significant rerate of the share price would be one way to appease shareholders. If the price reached 10p then I wouldn't mind the directors awarding themselves a bonus.

What folks need to remember is that Stratex hit 8.5p back in Q1 2012 and they have the same number of shares in issue now.

#No dilution #No debt #£2.5m cash in bank in May & more cash to come from the mine imminently

Now this is getting weird!?

I would like to think the reason the price is up is because the company is fundamentally undervalued, the current £11m market cap is way below that of peers.

The enterprise value is only £9m as they almost certainly have £2m in the bank with a possible £2m more to come from H1 gold production.

Mariana has a market cap of £70m and Ariana £16m, both Turkish based, certain investors seek out sector bargains and in my view Stratex is one of them. Neither of those aforementioned companies produce anything yet either!

They appear to be sells as I did some dummy buys around that time and got offered 2.45p and 2.47. I think they are trying to encourage some action/buys and marking it up might prompt a buy at same time as the sells being executed. You often see shares marked down when MMs want some shares to fill a buy order. All games.

When did the price tick up - are the 2.40 sells or buys?

nice rise but with such pathetic volumes its pretty meaningless unless you want a quick trade

Could you list the 'entities' for our benefit, Observer, as I am obviously too thick to work out who they are ?

Agree , 90% of my buys were below 1.4p - and they are still gullible .

I think the only people that are gullible are the entities, who still post on here and elsewhere, who never sold when the shares hit 10p in March 2012.

The idea is to buy low (like now) AND SELL HIGH !!

nothing shrewd about them - gullible is more the word

Perhaps we can conclude that they are better at selling assets than at buying them ?

Tembo, GRL, Dalaffin - would suggest otherwise

Nothing much available on-line even at 2.4p, about £1000's worth that's all.

Interesting!
