shoggoth - I don't recall any price affecting news being withheld by Stratex. I can tell you I would be the first person to complain if I found that was happening.

Good points, Observer. Agree an update is due and may surprise us to the upside.
However, there are no multi aliases on the other board. they are all separate individuals who have been around on these boards for some time. This demonisation of bearish posters by calling them 'multi aliases' and 'entities' is laughable and weakens your arguments.

I think they have sacked a lot of judges in Turkey, that could put any court ruling back 5 years

Because Charles when the company has bad news they don't announce it in a timely way either. So just because you haven't heard anything you can't conclude everything is rosy.

I took some more " Stratex International" this morning at 2.27p

I reckon this is going to 5p+ when they announce all the cash coming in from that mine.

Look at gold going up again as well :-)

Observer - I really don't know why some people (from the other place) don't just sell their shares and move on. If you don't trust someone to deliver you use another delivery service!

I see there is agitation from the multi-alias posters at the other place concerning the Q2 gold production update.

Well the last one came on the 18th April, oh dear, that means Stratex are 1 day late so far. But let me put it to them that Stratex may be negotiating on the final AISC numbers and delivery of cash settlement for the half year (could it be £2m?)

So the small delay may be worthwhile, but this is of no consequence to the plums on the other thread because they want 8p+ tomorrow to bale them from their purchases back in 2012.

Remember the share price hit 8.5p back in 2012 and Stratex still have the same number of shares in issue now!

Perhaps the small wait will be worthwhile!!!

george - as far as I am aware the company is only obliged (apart from the annual report) to inform shareholders of any significant material changes to that which have been previously stated. So no changes = no news. I'm happy with that and as long as they are playing by the rules and not hiding anything, why worry?

george absolutely, we have still not heard the final court ruling and still have no idea on mine life. Easy for some to sweep this under the carpet but it does seem to be raising a red flag against the company for most who are unwilling to invest until such time as these issues are resolved and production revenues can be established. When or if that day ever comes the share price could fly away but until such time it will be hamstrung by investors ambivalence to the way the company has been run.

Inflation up; gold price up. Just coincidental, but every little helps .

Charles, it's ridiculous to be where we are in Q3 with still no report on Q1. We don't even have a Q1 production figure let alone a cost breakdown.

I can only assume that there is a reworking of the mine agreement figures as a result of Kayatepe being in doubt and therefore a shorter mine life than originally envisaged in the feasibility study. This would accelerate the need to set aside mine termination costs.

But this is just speculation. STI still has a duty to keep shareholders informed, and for whatever reason is failing to do so.

Since mine construction completion was on 20th October 2015 and first gold pour was 2 weeks later maybe it's asking too much for them to disclose any tangible production and profit figures, after all they've only been running now for 3 full quarters...the ineptitude is quite breathtaking...

exbiz - don't you mean the coiled spring of anticipation is quite breathtaking? We know there has been no shortfall in scheduled production or any significant financial problems otherwise the market would have had to be informed by law. So really all I can imagine the company could be accused of - is not feeding the market with reassurances that everything is going hunky dory.

I don't see that as uncharacteristic of the way Stratex operates. If it was, then I might worry about it.

But hey let's not be too negative as I'm sure there will be news due next week for this significantly undervalued, under the radar share. Let's not forget there are vultures circling at this price waiting to take us out too !!! in fact they've been circling so long they'll be dropping out of the sky with exhaustion soon.

I contacted Bob a few weeks ago, I asked him about the lack of clarity in the Altintepe update, the responce I received was " an update is long overdue". Still we wait, I believe it shows Stratex's weak hand, unable to even update the market on important issues.
Oh, and Bob was at pains to tell me, due to regulatory changes he would be unable to enter into e mail contact with investors. Handy that!

And the information blackout continues, but I'm sure on the rampers board someone will mention today that 'news is due' 'next week' and the theme will run for the rest of the week as they fail to generate a discussion between them other than backslapping about being significantly undervalued and 'I spoke to Bob' months ago now and he said ' news is coming soon'.

Agree. I can see more have sold out of this small rise. The silver lining is this is a good thing longer term, shaking out some small holdings only means a sharper rise eventually.

Looks like news must be coming, has Bob finally got the numbers together with Bahar and a £2m+ money transfer is coming Stratex's way?

As soon as Mr Market can see real numbers/cash the stock simply has to re-rate.

They could get £4m this year verses the current £9m Enterprise Value?

Shares should be nearer 3.5p just to catch up with AAU who are yet to produce!

With specifically this share I guess I'd like to see it consistently above 3p to give me confidence we've seen the last of the current range it has languished in since the days long ago when it was "just an explorer" and traded at 2.5p with gold at not much over $1000 an ounce. Now we have much higher gold prices, an increasingly bullish pm sector, favourable USD:Sterling and proven production and yet 2.5p feels like a major milestone. Maybe I am just being greedy. Truth is, if it manages to cling on to +2.5p by end of the day I'll be all smiles.
