18/7/2016 10:03 | Goodness me - if I didn't know any better from past experience I'd swear there's an RNS coming. | charles clore
18/7/2016 10:02 | Bob said at Mining Capital he expected to conclude final discussions re cash distribution etc with their mine partner Bahar by now so I sense an update is coming. I would not rule out the prospect of them selling their share of the mine either, I recall at Mines & Money a director saying it was an option (for the right price) but this was before they sold their Oksut royalty in December. If Stratex could get north of £30m now for their 45% stake and purchase a producing asset for a fraction of that it would make commercial sense surely. | tadtech
18/7/2016 10:01 | That was a nifty buy at 8.30 this morning, at just 2.025 - genius. share price movement looking good, as it should. | dogwalker
18/7/2016 09:56 | Seems unlikely to me when such emphasis has been placed on the words "cash flow". | romeike
18/7/2016 09:51 | Observer - yes, and still have some cash left over with which to reward shareholders by means of a special dividend! Hello hello hello - what's this I see, a spike? | charles clore
18/7/2016 09:46 | I wouldn't put it past them to sell their stake in the mine either, if you take current gold prices they will probably get north of £60m cash from their share over the next 8 years. Could they get £35m-£40 They are a shrewd outfit when it comes to deals. You never know. | observer007
18/7/2016 09:37 | steve - he implied the same to me in an email. But surely he can't keep saying it and do nothing... can he? It's getting to the stage where if Bob breaks wind the market will move. So come on Bob, lets have a nice big fart for your shareholders! | charles clore
18/7/2016 09:29 | Bob acknowledged a few weeks ago, "an update is long overdue". Still nothing | steve1905
18/7/2016 08:20 | Nice to get that update on the Bahar payments. It doesnt get much more frustrating than this | juju44
18/7/2016 08:17 | So is that it , the long awaited update . | juju44
18/7/2016 07:49 | Agreed Tad there is tremendous potential here. The market appears to be factoring in zero income so when the figures are announced the reaction to the upside could be quite surprising. | charles clore
18/7/2016 07:45 | > Was it Bob organised the coup - it has his hawlmark about it You mean, that it was either bungled or faked. | shoggoth
18/7/2016 07:43 | Good to see across the board reassurances from a host of Turkish resource companies that operations remain unaffected & staff are safe. This is a exciting time for Stratex who hopefully will shortly announce maiden Q2 production from the newly opened gold mine. Looking around the Turkish sector it seems that AISC's are broadly around the $650oz area, if so projections Stratex could see cash coming for H1 production of £2m+ are probably not far off if Q2 production is broadly the same as Q1. Current market cap only £10m v potential annual revenues of £4m. DYOR etc | tadtech
18/7/2016 07:27 | There it is from Claire. All well and operations unaffected. | shavian
16/7/2016 14:33 | It'd be nice to see that, punkfeelinglucky - the relief from any coup threat - as a part excuse for the awaited RNS, sooner rather than later. The share price is poised to rise; the pog is more favourable; & we just want some/almost any news. | dogwalker
16/7/2016 13:40 | Was it Bob organised the coup - it has his hawlmark about it | juju44
16/7/2016 13:36 | No stratex staff affected by coup - from Bob | punkfeelinglucky
16/7/2016 11:00 | Dogwalker - point taken and accepted. | charles clore
16/7/2016 10:40 | Charles, When we have , hopefully, a positive RNS I will welcome it as much as you. In the meantime, a suspicion remains, & suspicions do not need to be apologised for later where there is, or was, any reason for having them. Of course I do not have evidence - that would require an RNS - & I naturally hope there never is any. | dogwalker
16/7/2016 10:11 | Charles Clore Pointless trying to debate with the loser on this thread, probably one very bitter individual using multiple accounts. Desperate to keep the thread at the top of the ADVFN list, now resorts to posting lines of numbers, how bloody pathetic is that. | observer007
16/7/2016 10:03 | So what effect will the attempted coup have on Stratex, let me answer that, precisely nothing. The mine is in a remote part of Turkey 500km from Ankara and 1000km from Istanbul , the mine produces gold and silver which is sold in US dollars, if anything any spike in the gold price will benefit the company. If Bahar sell in US Dollars and have costs in Turkish Lira that will benefit them I see on the multi alias thread, I actually do wonder how many aliases one person can create, the prophet (yes one person) of doom and gloom fails to mention that the coup has failed. If anything it may reign in Erdogan with some of his more extreme policies. It will all be forgotten in a few weeks. | observer007
16/7/2016 10:00 | Dogwalker - I do not accept your view of of 'back sliding' (evidence please?). If there was any deviation away from the agreement with Bahar Stratex would have issued an RNS. I hope you will have the decency to come back here and post an apology when the company issues an RNS stating that production is going to plan and we have received payment for gold produced. | charles clore
16/7/2016 08:40 | Turkish lira plunges, making Stratex' share of the profit split suddenly more expensive for the people supposedly giving it to us. 'Force majeure' of some desciption gets applied due to the coup attempt, with the so-called contract 'modified' accordingly. That's the worst I can think of. The suspicion is that the turmoil will give suitable cover for Bahar to continue with what's being happening already - back-sliding on the deal with us. | dogwalker
16/7/2016 07:35 | ....61....62....63.. | longshanks |
