11/9/2019 22:42 | I’ve been trading it a bit. In at 110p odd, out at 142p odd, back in at 133p and flogged today at 139p odd. I think it’s worth a lot more but it’s risen so fast I think it’ll be a bit range bound around 130-140. But say again fundamentally cheap I think. | andycapp1
11/9/2019 15:17 | gabrieloak, the T/A is well over bought mentime, im looking for 130p re entry. As for dilution, i never know exactly what the effect will be, but as it's dilution, usually it's not sunshine and rainbows. Then again, maybe it is. | keifer_1
11/9/2019 11:25 | ESL also announced that our bond holders who hold our ESL shares as collateral will have to disclose their holdings under takeover panel rules, so might be worth Keeping an eye out to see who these parties are | lpavlou
11/9/2019 09:14 | Hi Keifer, Given the dilution of the employee scheme is 1% tomorrow and the bid offer spread sometimes exceeds 1%, what were you thinking the effect was going to be? | gabrieloak

09/9/2019 21:22 | Apologies for my ignorance- it was ESL . | harleymaxwell
09/9/2019 21:20 | Not sure how a takeover of ESL effects us, as we have charged the shares as collateral. I suppose we can't vote in favour of a takeover as once our shares are sold, the bond holders will want more security. The ESL share price was about 90p when we raise the money, not sure any takeover will get close to this price. I expect them to offer near to the current share price prior to suspension. | lpavlou
09/9/2019 21:14 | Not sure what to make of the RNS this morning. Are they inflating the value of the energy division to pay out the management or is it really worth that much in which case Mr Market has got it wrong. I initially thought the very early rise in the share price to 145 was from the RNS, but I now reckon they were some novice investors buying in due to the takeover rumour as ESL. You can't make it up. However, the pullback is to be expected given | lpavlou

09/9/2019 07:26 | "For the purpose of determining the value of awards to management under the SEIP, the Board of Stobart Group appointed an independent valuer to carry out a valuation of the Energy division on a consolidated basis" "That independent valuer has valued the equity of the Energy division at in excess of GBP210m as at 30 June 2019, compared to a starting valuation of GBP100m as at 30 June 2016" "The Energy division's management will now share in an award with a total value of GBP5.3m. All awards under the SEIP are being satisfied through the delivery of ordinary shares in the Company (i) the transfer of 665,251 existing ordinary shares held in the Stobart Group Employee Benefit Trust and (ii) the issuance of 3,830,947 new ordinary shares by the Company" So the Ord share capital has tanked. The "Independent " market valuation - how can you get more independent than the actual stock market - of the whole company is far less and we are told that some expert says the energy division has more than doubled in the same time....... So who are the beneficiaries of these share ? Was it originally envisaged that this scheme would just pluck a value or was it on the basis of the Energy company actually being SOLD ? And they issue the RNS stating that over 98% voted for the scheme - that looks like an acceptance that questions will be raised at this time......... | fenners66
