there's just no stock or liquidity in the name. Anybody wanting to buy this in size is going to struggle, hence the likelihood for a major pop in the stock if buyers really do come in

They're striving hard to get the various divisions within Stobart sold off to realise full value in the company too. Fair Value is £1 per share btw in their view

only last year the biomass unit was individually valued at £250mn, airport at £750mn and today the company has >£100mn in cash on the balance sheet. All of this for a current mkt cap of £120mn or EV of £300mn. With an implied equity value at these levels, this is either going bust for reasons unbeknown to us at this stage or the share price is multiplying 5x over the near term once COVID fades into history
