"a disgrace this year, paid large dividends then fired staff, played games with airports"

How about
a disgrace , paid too large dividends and squandered resources for years, played games with airports and more importantly failed airlines, got embroiled in embarrassing public boardroom legal spats and begged to be refunded by shareholders (the dividend bribe they attracted them to buy the shares with in the first place) lost money on useless vanity enterprises and failed to capitalise on the Stobart Logistics windfall completely overseeing massive shareholder wealth destruction in the process......

But you put your faith in THEM......

And for the record Easyjets PR team has been a disgrace this year, paid large dividends then fired staff, played games with airports, been slow to refund cancelled flights.. there is loads. Terrible terrible company!

Don't think there is any need to panic.. Whizz air for one are expanding their routes with 4 new destinations announced for Gatwick today. We have completed a 100m fund raiser not long ago and cut the costly train civils ops. Just constant bad news from early this year im afraid. Have a large stash of my money in here currently at a decent sized paper loss but given the assets I think only the amateurs sell at these levels although fair play if playing around with the 5% jumps and drops.. summer next year this will look good.

"Stobart Group expects to be attractive to other airlines. "

What other airlines , are there any left ?

Did not realise that Stobart had employees working at Stansted - so even more jobs to go.

They remain "confident" about the cash position - well they absolutely cannot say anything else can they ?

"Confident" does not come with any guarantees, so nothing for them personally to worry about.

Let's see how where the share price will be in October 31st :) ! No need to look at one day reaction unless you are a daily trader? Aiming 50p mate -

The share price may well shakeout this morning, but the fact you're clueless about investing remains.

Stick to cricket.

No but it was expected. However I was informed by a neighbour who has worked at Carlisle airport for years that most of the staff there are being made redundant - now that I certainly was not expecting.

Hope not as I need to see that just for breakeven.. Assets here hugely undervalued once air travel is back towards were it was. Should recover faster than those whom focus on long haule flights. I'm confident we can see 100 here end of 2021
