30.82 is the offer so those trades c. 9am wrongly classified.

I thinks it's all too obvious that European travel depends on airlines. There is absolutely no way that freedom of movement can take place without it. It is an essential part of the infrastructure. Period.

I suspect the large trades just after 9am were delayed reported purchases.

Some TR-1's due soon I would guess, hoping that Tosca are continuing to take-up Invesco's reduced holding!

We're talking short haul here. I cannot see many tourists driving to southern Spain. It's over 1,200 miles. Not practical for most. Air is the only way to go. It's a captive market and Southend is the easiest and the cheapest route. It's a great little aerodrome. Very small scale... which is what people want.

Yes, that article predates the pandemic but I doubt people will stop flying to their favourite holiday destinations. They will be back...

I stopped using Stansted, which is equidistant from my location as Southend. Stansted is too big and more expensive to use. Southend on the other hand is in a residential area and close to free parking on the street. You cannot say that about many airports, can you! Personally I think Southend is a goldmine for Stobart and will bloom once again when the virus emergency passes, as it surely WILL.

easyJet has not 'quit' Southend. It has stopped using it as an operations base. easyJet is still flying out of Southend and is advertising flights well into the autumn.

WizzAir back in action at Southend airport, restaurants and Cafés to open soon, but new popup Café opened at departures. Well it's a start for passengers while cargo goes on from strength to strength. Still await formal announcement from Amazon on making it their European hub.

They need to sell the investment properties, get a handle on the construction division as there will be a lot of work coming out of Network Rail in the next 2 years. Biomass should be ok. The airport will struggle until people start flying again which may not be until next summer. I expect the Sp to hover around 30-40p. I doubt it will get to 20p. Expect the Board to renegotiate their long term inventive plans as they have zero chance of paying iut

First stop?
Clearly that was 30p not 40p

Business has serious issues now

Don't think so. Back to placing price is first stop at 40p then onwards to 60p
