After emerging from a severe winter, Q2 & Q3 should make significant progress. That said, the really big prize will come in the form of the Line 5 conversion being completed this Autumn and showing its paces this time next year. News of that event should add to momentum of the share price this summer.


Edit: I note a 100k buy @ 29.75p on Friday, has just been reported.

Cracking report with clear evidence of the company driving costs down, production significantly up with large project savings. Upward momentum by the share price should increase as near term goals are archieved. NAV 45p

Hmmn.an indicated 190k volume - all buys(including the 100k marked as a sell @ 29p. I expect to see the share price rise tomorrow to properly reflect same.

IC included STCM in its list of 6 small -cap special situations. Buyers are nibbling this morning. 22/2/2013 Chairman bought 150k @ 34p.

A surprisingly good Q1 despite a very harsh winter.The share price has fallen since the Q4, 2012, however with the completion of dry Line 5 in October, huge cost savings and increased production should provide a significant boost to the share price in 2013.

Revenues for Q4 2012 was only KZT 2951m and less than half that for Q3 KZT 7,233M. Thus I am somewhat puzzled at the rise in the share price and the latest purchase.

Following the update ahead of April FY results, the bid has moved up from 27.25p to 27.75p. Today a 50k buy @ 28.5p followed by a 2k buy @ 29.1p; size matters?

IC-as of 5/1/13, the consensus forecast amongst 4 polled analysts covering STCM advise that the company will outperform the market.

If last year is anything to go by, we could get a preliminary update this month for the year ending 31 December 2012. If Q4 revenues just repeats Q3, the two combined will be up 86% on H1.
