I'm with IG. Never get any notifications, just payment. I held last year and there was no tax. Can't see anything to suggest this year is different

I'm with Lloyds (ISA) and AJ Bell (SIPP) no messages so far with either - both received dividends last year with no tax deducted, so quite suprised to read your messages this morning. Hopefully just a platform error for you guys..

This sounds like it might be just another degiro issue then. I have contacted support to see what they say.

Cheers

Guys - did you hold STCM stock at the time of last years dividend payment?

I have had no such message in either of my share accounts re: tax and was not taxed on last years dividend..

I have the same. A 50% tax on the upcoming divi. Anyone know if it can be reclaimed?

Yes it's STCM. I meant I received the dividend notification. The amount I get for the shares I have is correct however the notification also says there's a dividend tax of 50%. I'm UK based and there's no such tax here. I thought it was some sort of withholding tax in the country where the company is headquartered but I can't find any information like that.

You sure that was STCM? It's not being paid until the end of the month.

Because Russian retail investors are looking for yield stocks, in this Region, given Putin is raiding their savings accounts, and STCM fits the Bill, and it is transforming Russian capital markets in a way never seen before.....

Excuse my ignorance , how will that help UK listed shares ?Or STCM in particular There was a small rise before this went ex-dividend .After May through to summer is historically low volume , probably be the same this year .Markets are def quieter and stocks not moving much either

Has anyone else not received an "upcoming dividend" notification in their account? Yes I was holding shares before ex-div date. It is the first time this has happened to me and not sure if something wrong. Using Degiro.

To be honest, for me the cheaper the better. I'll add more. Bigger divi and fairly solid fundamentals. Great savings plan.
