If its just buy-backs, implying a demand for the shares, I'm surprised that they've been undertaken below mid-price and led to a price drop.

well done a bit of calculating and and after the first buybacks they had around £800K left in the bank, which gives them the ability to cancel around another million shares. Time will tell no doubt.

mmm...this is getting interesting, there was also a trade for 375000, was that the buyback going through - and MH provided the liquidity to do it? Thoughts?

Kael,

Well we do have one RNS now, although its a director exercising and selling an option. As you state there may well be more RNS's.

Everyone is going on about CGT this year (well who can blame them!) but am curious to how much an effect this is happenning - any thoughts anyone?

Shame can't put these in an ISA as would be an ideal stock for long term growth.

mmm...looks like these buy sell figures are blurred then - I'm sure we willget an RNS those 2 largish trades yesterday were almost 3% I think

that 10k sell is actuall a rollover from me, just bought them back just above what i sold them at. Not sure if that will show though.

Im fairly confident they do have something to do with the buybacks. One of the directors would have to sell due to takeover rules - the fact that they are willing to take on almost 1 million of what *appears* like sells and only move the price a few pence shows something must be up - that kind of selling pressure should drop the price by more than a few pence but it hasnt hence I suspect buybacks.

Anybody, any idea what these large trades over the last couple of days relate to? Hopefully they're just being down for tax reasons, whether institutional or private, but they don't look to me like anything to do with share buybacks.

Insights much appreciated... ...these still seem good value to me and I'm happy to stay with these until the AGM at an absolute minimum, although hopefully for at least a couple of years.

Cheers, Martin

Kael - you've gone over your bandwidth limit on geocities. This is what I get when I go to the address of your chart graphic direct:

Sorry, this site is temporarily unavailable!
The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer

Have you got a lot of popular things on kaelterskelter? You could try creating a second account and splitting pages/files between them to lessen the load a bit.

I haven't got level 2 so can't help there I'm afraid.

mmm.. well think CS should have a buy order and as I suspected support seems to be in at around 75p - nice 25K went through.

edit ignore above - my lev2 is playing up! or is it? does anyone else see CS alone on offer at 73p? quote I get is 72p bid though.
