27/5/2010 10:04 | You've got to wonder if they try and sell Biome the same way they've tried to sell us the AIM concept. SEO:Do you want to buy some Biome? Customer:What's good about it? SEO:Nothing really and we don't do explanations. Customer:No thanks | 2pearly
27/5/2010 09:56 | The Company is of the opinion that taking into account the net proceeds of the Firm Placing and Placing, the Group has sufficient working capital for its present requirements, that is, for at least 12 months from the date of this document. lol so they got 1 year to fight nova and grab the big money deal, whats the likely hood of that? nova could sink this company easy, GAME OVER | bulgarianpropertydoteudotcom
27/5/2010 09:55 | in terms of AIM, I think it just allows them to get away with murder more often.. certainly been acting like an AIM firm for a while now... | wolterix
27/5/2010 09:54 | Studs! a blast from the past. You used to be quite voiciferous under a slightly different spelling and I used to think 'what a miserable bleeder' and here I am........... | 2pearly
27/5/2010 09:53 | shuders....bloody hell....you still alive....£35 by christmas it is then... | jwoolley
27/5/2010 09:52 | I nearly fell for all of the hype back when it was 20p+ a share but although it sounded amazing it just didn't ring true. What they should have done was concentrated on 1 major product line, not try to be all things to all men. Sounds like they haven't learned though. | shudstave
27/5/2010 09:48 | :) so, you're not keen on SEO then.. | wolterix
27/5/2010 09:46 | wolterix - no. Other things I'm keener on, but I think the point is still valid. PLNT is looking for cash from a) grants and b) partners. Clearly they're cosy with National Starch. Doesnt seem too unlikely that NS would want a stake if offered - would help them to buy the company later if they wanted to, so not a bad move. | the_doctor
27/5/2010 09:44 | Why all the big chunky buys? | fur
27/5/2010 09:44 | I agree, this could be a good entry point for SEO now but the management is shocking. I might take some. | themoneymonster2
27/5/2010 09:43 | ah! studhaves? used to think you were abit too doom and gloom back in the day, but tbf you've kinda called it right... seriously hope they can clinch these 'fabulous deals' and they don't remain fabulous but there again I see another line appearing on PM's cv 10. successfully engineered and oversaw a major fundraising in the 'City' | wolterix
27/5/2010 09:41 | DJ Our communications are very short and terse as you would imagine.Communicatio Same old, same old I'm afraid. | 2pearly
27/5/2010 09:40 | have you dipped your beak in then Doc? | wolterix
27/5/2010 09:39 | Don't worry, they'll be £35 each by Christmas!! Look, seo have been playing this game for about 6 years or so now, and they are STILL missing the fundamental part of any successful business: You have to actually go and SELL some product! All that they do is keep repeating the same old mantra, they have an excellent product, the markets worth umpteen bazillion pounds, they're going to make mega bucks... but if they don't actually get on with selling something then they're just going to keep repeating this excercise. I think a couple of people have hit the nail on the head - they'll either consolidate or delist, going to AIM is the death knell and should sound alarm bells. They've had a long time to go out and generate sales in something - remember the old frogpack (dropping stuff out of helicopters), and all of the other umpteen products - why haven't they made some serious headway with some of them? They have sales teams who don't sell anything, managers who aren't managing anything, no sales, no marketing - where is the breakthrough going to come from - McDonalds again? Sounds like either they need an almighty rocket up their a*ses, or the product is actually not good enough/has no USP - and it's alright you thinking it has because they've told you it has, you need to speak to packaging companies and manufacturers to see what they think. | shudstave
27/5/2010 09:39 | "Who in their right mind would buy these now????" well, it's cheaper now and now has cash. | the_doctor
27/5/2010 09:36 | A certain amount of buying going on. Maybe short termers looking at getting in on the offer with a view to making quick profits? Sp likely to rise initially once offer completed I would have thought. My shares are all in ISA so hopefully won't have to sell if there is something happening there ie if AIM shares are becoming eligible. Anyone else seen anything on that as I hadn't picked anything up until jwoolley mentioned it earlier. I would also vote against switch to AIM but probably won't be able to get to agm. Management at least making an effort to economise here. They must have been secretly communicating with grax/2pearly I reckon. | dr jekyll
27/5/2010 09:32 | PLNT next moneymonster :) aye bulg, keeping my powder dry until July... who's gonna cough up the million then? I can't.. | wolterix
27/5/2010 09:25 | Take from today's rns: Our cash position at 31 March 2010 was £2.4 million, including 50% of Biotec's cash balance." Working capital The Company is of the opinion that taking into account the net proceeds of the Firm Placing and Placing, the Group has sufficient working capital for its present requirements, that is, for at least 12 months from the date of this document. -------------------- PLNT have around 18 months cash left and trade at a 30% discount to it. Applying the same ratio to SEO, the share price would be 0.08p so I stand by my comment, PLNT is way cheaper than SEO, even after this shocking placing. | themoneymonster2
27/5/2010 09:24 | 2Pearly All we need now is a management RNS saying they know of no reason for the fall in the share price. They're quite good at this sort of information. | johncsimpson
27/5/2010 09:15 | yep Grax you might be right again, thing that nags me is when the offer was on the table a few months back (i wonder what price it was then) the instis must have said no so much so that in desperation they came back at .125p. I wonder if they have got signatures on paper or is this a non binding commitment? Wolt feeling very smug ;-) | bulgarianpropertydoteudotcom
27/5/2010 09:02 | So not long now before the share price falls below the discount price and the people 'taking up the offer' will renege on their promises and buy cheaper on the direct market. Another massive calamity on the hands of the incompetent management. They didn't even sweeten the pill. | 2pearly
27/5/2010 08:57 | If SirM made a profit, he would have been duplicitous, I had judged him as just unlucky. Oh well. | nicd
27/5/2010 08:53 | ops double posting, removed second one. | ohwhat |
