04/5/2016 08:14 | For those interested in further information and opinion on the platform situation:- | cwa1
04/5/2016 08:12 | You beat me to it. | essentialinvestor
04/5/2016 07:52 | Decent acquisition announced this am.... | chesty1
03/5/2016 10:48 | I'm optimistic long term and agree with the strategic shift of the business, would not buy the shares otherwise. Thought it was worth underscoring the likely greater volatility as a result of this shift. | essentialinvestor
03/5/2016 10:45 | Also agree CHESTY1 no worries longer term and great divi. | spcecks
03/5/2016 10:23 | In six months time we will all look back and wonder why we didn't load up at 3.20, I am fully invested here at an average of £3.37p no worries here imho longer term. 5% divi all helps. | chesty1
03/5/2016 10:13 | There is another aspect to the newly emerging SL model that may be worth keeping in mind- the transition from largely an insurance company to asset manger is likely to result in increased share price volatility, total funds under management, wider stock market levels etc will have a larger bearing on the share price This shift in focus and the consequences may be something not fully appreciated by some PI's. | essentialinvestor
03/5/2016 09:58 | Don't see that holding I'm afraid, added a few, still my smallest holding by some margin, safer adding in just small amounts, no need to be a hero in these markets, just my take. | essentialinvestor
03/5/2016 09:55 | Well let's hope for a double bottom, SL. Being dragged down by others... It will recover just wish I had waited for 3.20 Be lucky to all | chesty1
03/5/2016 08:52 | Dreadful half year results from ADN, surprised the share price is only down 7% atm. Retest of the Feb low now for SL. would think, not sure I see that holding either. | essentialinvestor
02/5/2016 15:14 | Well the DOW recovered after our close Friday & if it can post some good gains tonight our markets should react nicely tomorrow am.... | chesty1
01/5/2016 11:30 | Undoubtedly that is the case, Stay is also the result to expect imv however turn out makes it a little more tricky, the Leave vote is more motivated with a degree of apathy on the remain side. Added 2 small lots under 327 Friday, however lower market levels would not surprise me. | essentialinvestor
01/5/2016 11:07 | I personally feel leaving vote has already depressed the share price here.....Market always factors things in before they happen & then when they don't send it back up to where it should be.... Which is why I have been loading up with these at these levels. Who knows but that's my take on it....The vote will never go through. | chesty1
30/4/2016 16:27 | Would agree longer term the price looks attractive. It is worth though keeping in mind that if we vote to Leave in June all hell will break loose for the UKX, while It is the less likely vote outcome it's worth consideration. | essentialinvestor
29/4/2016 22:19 | good price to have bought at LT. | philo124
29/4/2016 16:40 | Decided to have a few in the auction at 326. Seems like a reasonable buy-in price. Only gone for a moderate holding in case the chance comes along to add at a price that is a good bit lower. Happy to have a foot in the door though! | cwa1
29/4/2016 14:01 | I'd hope that the CEO spends his time on the companies performance rather than the share price That will take care of itself if the company performs. You can't do anything about market sentiment. I also own Aviva - the company has undoubtedly improved its performance over the last two years but the share price has gone nowhere. Just have to hold and hope. | dr biotech
29/4/2016 13:42 | Not sure what else the CEO can do. SL have to live with ultra low global rates and now negative rates in multiple countries, combined with increased equity volatility. BREXIT uncertainty has most likely taken a good 7-8% from the SP, at least. | essentialinvestor
29/4/2016 13:08 | The share performance is appalling. It seems we have lost a lot of value over the year. CEO should get his act together on this. noticed some big buys recently, which means big boys are building up stakes. The company is making profits and paying dividends, so why the share is keeping drifting down? there are some guys trying to write subtle messages to ramp or de-ramp the share, not quite sure it will help. | carer
29/4/2016 12:51 | 5k more for my trading account @£3.28p.... | chesty1
29/4/2016 12:34 | nick, if the US begin to sell off UK markets have downside, notice how weak the UKX is even with many US markets nudging new all time highs. The BREXIT uncertainty is not supportive to the SL. SP, not too much longer to go before the vote thankfully. | essentialinvestor
29/4/2016 09:10 | We're on for a 7 day losing streak. No new company data. The Feb 315 low looks increasingly probable imo. | nicksoj
29/4/2016 08:57 | Bargain territory . Just got to guess how low it can go. | its the oxman
29/4/2016 08:13 | nick, nothing is inevitable in markets, highly probable is as close as you will get. | essentialinvestor
28/4/2016 15:23 | This baby is now starting to get interesting. Perhaps the market is reacting to the lack of transparency per quarter.More downside is inevitable imo. | nicksoj |
