10/12/2015 15:56 | PUR, has approved the sale of its trading interests. They have sufficient cash currently to give a 160p return within a couple of months, a further 30p upon completion of the sale, followed by a small final payment on liquidation in q3 2016. | flyfisher
04/12/2015 19:01 | SKYSHIP and others, on LSR at what discount on the property values does one break-even at todays price? Ie what is the current price factoring in for the sales? The context is not bullish at all for small high street shops quite the contrary....the facial discount of 35% is misleading because there is stil a lot of leverage..... | chevalierdaven
04/12/2015 18:21 | LSR is doing likewise; but they now trade at a c35% NAV discount! | skyship
04/12/2015 17:18 | CA,You could take 4 years of costs out of most asset plays and it would seriously dent the NAV. I personally don't think JIL will be around in 4 years. JIL have stated that the costs will be addressed now in liquidation mode so current costs are not necessarily representative going forwards. | cockerhoop
04/12/2015 16:48 | HEADER EDIT: Charts removed: ACD, SPK, TCF, TREE Charts added: JIL, WIND | skyship
04/12/2015 14:14 | Skyship, I think your comments regarding the assets of JIL and the US legal system are valid but the assets are not correlated to stock market performance so as in the case of TLI may help balance a portfolio. It's interesting how investing perception changes, before the recent couple of setbacks the shares were trading at a premium to NAV with the same risks. ChevalierdAven, NAV 76p, share price 43.5p Discount very tiny!! | cockerhoop
04/12/2015 13:26 | JIL: yes I avoid for now, cash burn is massive so discount to NAV is in fact very tiny so no real margin of safety here | chevalierdaven
04/12/2015 13:05 | WIND came good with its sale of trading interests and self liquidation. | flyfisher
04/12/2015 09:03 | JIL - sure in liquidation mode, but very high risk. Don't like it as impossible to evaluate the assets; as evidenced by the recent jury write-down of anticipated damages. The idea of relying on the dis-functional US legal system for anything, is patently absurd! | skyship
24/11/2015 13:27 | IERE deleted, PUR added....will look at JIL.... | skyship
24/11/2015 12:54 | JIL (Juridica Litigation Funding) has gone into Self Liquidation mode. It might meet the criteria of this board. Current share price 52.5p Current NAV 81p. First 5p to be returned to holders on 30th December who are on the register at the record date of 27th November. | cockerhoop
24/11/2015 12:36 | badtime, good for me too. A decent return from bgbl as well in the s/l category. Do you see anything with potential? | flyfisher
24/11/2015 11:52 | Fly that has been a good earner for me ..thanku for bringing it to my attention via the SHA thread | badtime
24/11/2015 10:39 | I'm out of touch there. However there is usually a decent return to be made by the patient so I will look at the figures tonight. BGBL paid a decent enough return over the course of a year. | hpcg
24/11/2015 07:48 | PUR, has today announced a sale of its trading interests and is to move into self liquidation. | flyfisher
14/11/2015 21:44 | The Paris situation is bound to hit the market monday | lollipop3
12/10/2015 16:37 | @Skyship, why would WIND trade lower than 60p? Execution risks? Creditquality of the buyer? How likely is a counterbid, or a refusal by the main shareholders so there is a sweetener at say 69p close to NAV? | chevalierdaven
09/10/2015 15:19 | Hmm - back to 47.5p-49.0p. If this weren't in the Renewable Energy sector I would be buying a few. Unfortunately most listed players in the sector seem to be run by charlatans and snake oil salesmen - so regrettably will have to pass! | skyship
09/10/2015 10:51 | WIND up 31.5% this morning | asmodeus
09/10/2015 10:13 | Bought any? | badtime
09/10/2015 08:23 | WIND, has today announced a potential sale of trading subsidiaries and self liquidation. | flyfisher
05/10/2015 11:05 | One looks at the candles and thinks decent buying opportunities. One draws the diagonal downward channel in and its more like top of the trading range, time to sell. | hpcg |
