20/1/2016 10:35 | FTSE now at mid 2012 levels. Has war broken out ? A catastrophe happened? The EU melted down? No just another false doom scenario engineered by the big players like all the previous times over the last 8 years. ie .Euro break up. Greek default (3 times) .Inflation . Recession. All rubbish and never happened. | lab305

08/1/2016 06:26 | Psssssssssssssst.. If you want to get into the Stockmarket at a low point but you are unsure what shares to buy I would suggest bunging a wad of dosh into a pension . Let the experts do it. My standard life pension has been a five bagger (over 20 years). What are your views? Is it time to get into the market via the back door? Or is it still too early? | netcurtains

11/12/2015 08:14 | LXB now firmly in realisation mode, with an expectation of March 17 to conclude. Announced a £16m buy-back which will be accretive to NAV. Still looking for 115-125p as a return from here. | tiltonboy
11/12/2015 07:57 | Asmo - sorry, removed from the Header as no longer a true liquidation stock post the redemption in the Spring. Sure, they have a continuation policy in place, but not quite the same as the previous certainty which made it such a great investment for over 2 years. | skyship
10/12/2015 21:06 | What's happened to ACD, please, anybody? | asmodeus
10/12/2015 16:20 | ERET, recently completed on the sale of its largest asset and is to distribute 65p in a couple of weeks. It only has two remaining assets, one of which is likely to have a considerable write up and be put up for sale, when its tenant is taken over by a multinational with a better credit grade. The final asset is in planning so it could be a sticky one and take some time to dispose of. There still looks to be a return in it, despite having risen strongly since summer. | flyfisher |
