gswredland...At the closing of business yesterday the NEX shareprice was 223p

The 18% premium implied a SGC (informal) offer of 81p based on the yesterdays closing price of 68.05p.

Whereever the NEX shareprice goes SGC will follow now.

Currently NEX is 244p which means the offer to SGC shareholders is around the current 85p / 86p level.

Need a sweetener of say 10p a share cash to Sgc holders. If the deal does go through, I see NEX possibly being a take over target themselves maybe in 2-3 years time.

I agree. This is happening all to often. The market are not correctly valuing companies on the LSE. Needs to increase by another 20p a share
