26/3/2021 08:00 | The Group maintains a solid financial position with investment grade credit ratings and appropriate headroom under its debt facilities. Since our interim results announcement on 9 December 2020, we have seen further positive cash flow (excluding movements in borrowings), and continue to have available liquidity of over GBP850m. The GBP300m that we borrowed in 2020 under the Covid Corporate Financing Facility ("CCFF") was repaid during February and March 2021. We have re-borrowed GBP300m under the CCFF, which is due to be repaid in February and March 2022. | waspfactory

02/3/2021 11:24 | Stagecoach has invested in new technology that will help it plan future bus networks and reduce CO2 emissions. The Perth-based transport group announced a partnership with Optibus to use its technology, which is already used in 450 cities around the world The rapid scenario creation software will allow planners to create efficient routes and timetables that will help cut the company's CO2 emissions. Stagecoach believes the new technology will also help roll-out its new electric vehicles by ensuring charging stations and times are included in the schedules. Last year, Stagecoach introduced Manchester’s first fleet of electric double-decker buses and it is targeting a zero-emissions bus fleet by 2035. UK managing director Carla Stockton-Jones said: “As we have seen during the Covid-19 pandemic, we need to be able to respond to changing circumstances quickly and alter timetables and operations delivery to best suit the needs of our customers and communities. “This major investment will give our planning teams the latest cutting-edge technology to help ensure that timetables can be planned faster and more easily.” Following pilots later this year, the Optibus platform will be rolled out in a phased approach across various UK regions. Stagecoach is continuing to make investments to help improve the service it offers customers. Earlier this year, it announced it was to become the first UK bus operator to invest in the national roll-out of new bridge alert technology. hxxps://www.insider. | investor73

18/2/2021 15:30 | At the current rate of reduction in daily infections, by the end of March the number will be tiny. Currently around three million people a week are being vaccinated,so around half the population should be vaccinated by the end of March. Borris Johnson might have all the data he needs by then to lift most of the restrictions imo. He's going to announce the roadmap on Monday,so SGC might start rising from there. Being on the sideline is not the best strategy IMO. DYOR | investor73
18/2/2021 14:28 | This is one of those guarantee cases, in May the price is obv £1.20 or more. Investors must be hoping they can drive down the price pre-hand. I think the problem is with it being a guarantee how long until the big boys pump the money in. I think the price could rise significantly any day with a few big boys buying hefty | hasago
