Doesn't seem to want to test 302 resistance....yet.If it stays within its normal price range (less than £3!!) then buying back the remaining 23 million should be achievable by Sept.DD

If you officially say your not going to bid then he can't for another 6 months unless someone else steps in. After the 6 months is up he could make his move anytime but in reality this is a distant dream but who knows. Hope my info is correct ?

His statements in his court case lead me to believe he is not as sophisticated as we all think he is. I think the surprise in the results will be that there is no surprise. Maybe there is no ulterior motive to the buyback?!

If he's actually intending on taking the company private, doesn't he need to give notification at the results?

If so how much notice does he need to give?

Let's hope he's second guessed them but I does seem rather an obvious play. Don't lend them stock and if you do ask for it back on a minutes notice as they are entitled to do. Bear squeeze City

It will be interesting to find out how much cash is left on the balance sheet come results. Unless he announces surprisingly good results he will come under heavy criticism locking down capital in minority holdings when the business needs improving. I know he's thick skinned in more ways than one but he might end up storming out.But he is still buying them under £3. Surely he wouldn't continue doing so knowing they will tank in 8 days time. Surely.... ?

They have bought 63,328,023 shares, they had 44,096,565 shares in treasury before the buyback."Thinks are only cheap for a reason !"........yep, just like SPD shares. ps Won't correct your obvious typo as that's somewhat petty and childish.......that said, haha.pps Back to the damp bench and soggy cardboard box, still free wifi though and making a few bob on SB this dog, the famous four will be so glad of the extra donation this month.DD
