11/10/2023 12:23 | i cant find now the amount of cash we got back in the 2017 successful vat reclaim anyone know as things look grim on paper but are obviously discounting that. I was with a different broker from memory so cant track through with this one. | finkie
09/10/2023 09:54 | The freehold and leasehold properties are worth £8.9m alone. Licence for perpetuity to offer pari-mutuel off-track betting in the State of Connecticut in the US for its Venues worth? Sports betting 8-year contract CLC (can be renewed in perpetuity) worth? I'm not saying anyone should buy, but based on the sum of the parts one would have thought its worth more the than todays mkt cap. 200p per share perhaps. | smithless
06/10/2023 07:59 | It’s going private so get out by the 16th if you don’t want your privates holding. | finkie
03/10/2023 13:09 | Last dealing date 16 October IF the proposals are voted through by shareholders on the 5th October. | miner66
02/10/2023 12:43 | What is the last date for owning stock and therefore owning it in a private company? | finkie
25/9/2023 10:01 | If you don't mind holding stock in a limited company, these have got to be a raging buy. I know some will not be able to hold stock outside the market, but on a valuation basis!!See Harwood has have taken Sands stock so delisting will happen as Griffiths, Harwood and Lombard have over 75%. Would Harwood be buying if it saw no exit route? As of the end of Aug £3.6m cash, current market cap £7.2m. It has to be worth 3x this. Interesting to see who replaces RSI when Connecticut State Lottery announce the winning bid. | smithless
13/9/2023 07:52 | He (Griffiths) comes across as an intelligent investment guru but he backs dogs and loses money. He is therefore a moron. | finkie
11/9/2023 07:41 | This is a disaster for shareholders. Nothing for the rump of your holding you have lost significant chunk of your capital thanks to this poorly run dog poo. R Griffiths you moronic fool. 22-60p | finkie
11/9/2023 06:58 | Well as I suspected, now the tiding up exercise (consolidation) was done a delisting. The management were never going to be able to maximise its value of its sports betting biz in Connecticut as a listed company. Do a bit of digging of what's happening with CLC in Connecticut and the pieces of the jigsaw will come together. | smithless
06/9/2023 07:48 | You are correct there has been sales and returns throughout and the loss isn’t 80% but SPO has still burnt probably 40% of your cash. It’s still dire in my book. | finkie
06/9/2023 07:16 | But that's the whole point. The company is being sold off bit by bit £120m odd so far. RG and others have special divi's along the way, so I think your loss assumption are out by some margin. Still think it's looking cheap, with around £4.5m of cash left. We shall see. | smithless
05/9/2023 12:49 | You will receive soon a recommended offer all agreed from the board to sell the company privately for blah blah reasons. You will have no choice the price will be dire and your shareholder stuffing will be complete. If its by christmas you may have enough to buy a packet of stuffing but not a turkey im afraid. | finkie
05/9/2023 11:48 | R Griffiths omg that man has followed this company to its near demise today he will be 80% down, I don’t care if it’s his money or borrowed from investors he must be feeling like an absolute fool here. No word ever about maybe changing the board improving communication or strategy, over the last 10 years gaming companies valuations have been to the moon and back at least twice this has just gone down and down and down. They will need money or have to be taken off the market for pennies and then they may buck up but for shareholders that is no good. | finkie
04/9/2023 13:44 | Well finkie you got your prediction right - now below 100p! Enterprise value of £5.3m As the board is effectively R. Griffiths, Lombard, Harwood Cap and Sand Grove (major shareholders and last two down (poss all) heavily, I can't see why they would won't to force down the price. Harwood increased its holding recently. Personally I can't see what has changed since the 35p distribution (post consolidation). Outlook at at AGM trading update seemed quite upbeat. | smithless
04/9/2023 13:43 | Bargepole im afraid | scepticalinvestor
29/8/2023 19:39 | As predicted a few weeks back this consolidation has simply made it easier for the price to drop to what was 10p. The board are magic… (at making all your cash disappear) communication is poor hardly worth paying the stock market to list it now. | finkie
22/8/2023 10:56 | Now has an enterprise value of £6m. It's CLC license must be worth 3x that. It may need to go private to get a decent price for the business, but at this level I've been buying a few | smithless
16/8/2023 08:55 | is the dividend which arrives this week taxable as income even though you are probably 30-70% down on the stock?! | finkie
16/8/2023 08:16 | Well the share restructuring really did help with the marketability of the company's issued shares (NOT) as quoted in RNS 26 June. Mkt cap now £11.9m | smithless
09/8/2023 13:39 | Miner66 Good idea , have requested thanks | scrapman |
