Disappointing. It had been expected to fully open this week. "We're closed statewide in the OTBs and will not be part of the Phase II re-opening on June 17," Sportech President Ted Taylor said.I believe some restaurants are open with outdoor tables, but nit indoor.

They have almost regulated. It's just the Names that needs to be agreed. Who will be licensed for sports betting?

Yep - the virus has really highlighted the need for tax revenues. California seem to be getting there with the tribal issues. Can only be good for the odds of Connecticut regulating

TOTE is a low margin business compared to casino and sports betting. We have valuable licences across the USA and some useful partnerships with online gaming companies but most relate to tote services, which is our forte. We have sports betting set up and just need to win a licence somewhere and then we are out of the gates. Rather like PTEC has just done.We had banked on Connecticut, where we have most licences, and everyone supports us except the two Indian Tribes, who want a monopoly on sports betting. The new Governor is holding out for a non-exclusive agreement to include SPO. In the meantime the Tribes' casinos and Sportech all have declining incomes as bets are going out of State.

Nice to see any movement from the stagnation of the last 6 months plus, however it always feels like this company is the ugly duckling probably will get taken but there are a few better birds ahead of it....

Nice start again - people waking up to potentialSPO very cheap way of getting access to US gamingDraft kings flying - money will flow to other players and SPO massively under radar but have a strong foot print

Only two people can attend the AGM and SPO has apparently taken the best two seats.
Is two a limit in Scotland or is it UK wide?

Sportech also announces that its 2020 AGM will be held on Friday, 26 June 2020. The meeting will be held at Archerfield House, Archerfield, Dirleton, East Lothian EH39 5HU, commencing at 10.00 a.m.Unfortunately, due to the Stay at Home Measures implemented by the Government which prohibit the gathering of more than two people, shareholders will not be able to attend in person.

Yes, it is a pain that it is such a mess when all the other states are regulatingThe current crisis is really speeding things up so it might regulate quicker than previously expected SPO still have some nice properties

There doesn't appear to be any progress in Connecticut with their sports betting legislation. Still stalled because the Tribes want exclusivity.Meanwhile Governor Lamont is having a spat with the Tribes over the reopening of their casinos on Monday. Lamont and his medical experts believe it is too risky.He cannot prevent them opening but may impose an alcohol ban.

That is true - with these US market caps increasing they could use the highly rated paper to snap up quality assets. SPO have a protected market and strong brands.

The share price is just too cheap - seems one of the most undervalued stocks in the sector IMO and very US focused now.

They could do worse than following GAN to do a NASDAQ IPO. Price has doubled since.

This is a historic company - I suspect it will hit the radars soon so trying to get a strong enough position.

A takeover at 30p would still be a nice premium on today's price.

Just not sure how big to go in.

SPO said they had a few parties that are interested in buying our company, but the Directors decided these offers were unacceptable. A distinct disadvantage of this type of under-the-desk offer is that shareholders don't get to know the offer(s) nor know what the Board disagreed with.
We shareholders may have been happy to take the offer. We may never know.

I think the massive rises in Draftkings and GAN and other US focussed gaming stocks will put SPO in the spot lightThe others have doubled pretty much - SPO has not moved but I suspect it will be picked up soonTO possibility remains high - they did put themselves up for sale recentlyMoreover, they have good licences and footprint.Recent rise is just the startMight need to position quickly Can see 25p no problem

Only outdoor restaurants from May 20th until June 20th, when indoor will be also allowed but not bars.I believe all our venues are restaurants.
