It's a bit pricey on a PEG rating being that they're on top line growth of c8%

But, it's a high quality outfit, cash rich and in a stable growth sector, worth holding quality IMV, it'll resume upward moves when the seller/s has done, again IMV

Sentiment here recently has seemed pretty poor, hopefully this is the step change we need. The growth of the sector should certainly produce a healthy platform for growth of the business.

Robbie Burns yesterday (I concur!):"I thought about looking around for anything that hadn't kept up but something that maybe should have and Spirent (SPT) came to mind and I picked up a few.When I say it hasn't kept up it hasn't done especially badly. It is in a number of tech areas including testing and performance and has plenty of decent income streams.It isn't cheap by any means but given a bright future there is an argument for a higher rating and also the chance of it being bought, Directors have been buying. It also has been using its cash well acquiring others, most recently OctoScope.For me a continued isa tuckaway for hopefully with patience, some nice rises ahead."

Still don’t understand why this is languishing only about 9% above its 52 week high.

I checked the share register on their website - 17 top clients hold over 92% of this stock - so its pretty much illiquid - hence share price doesnt move in my opinion unless the 17 make transactions - am gonna get out if i can get 250p - good luck all

Don't get the share price action here at all. No reason following their excellent results for this to be languishing 30% below its 52 week high. It's struggling to even get back to 250, confused.com

The company has been paying dividends over the years. Not quite sure why there has been drop of the price. It seems that MM's have a lot of share to sell, even though more buys than sells. This is a share much manipulated by MM's.
