28/9/2021 20:49:59 | I've no idea. Have to look at the sales volumes on way down vs up to get a rough idea and then........guess. | p1nkfish
28/9/2021 17:17:06 | Trouble is this doesn't strike me as a stock that will "bounce" back fairly rapidly, so another long wait I guess. | disc0dave45
28/9/2021 11:27:54 | Back into consolidation for a while before another attempt at 300p - perhaps.
There was serious resistance towards 298/9p. | p1nkfish
28/9/2021 10:42:10 | Thought we were getting thro the 300p wall of stock and beyond. | chard1980
28/9/2021 10:34:35 | Disappointing | chard1980
23/9/2021 18:34:07 | It's that ruddy wall of stock. | p1nkfish
23/9/2021 10:28:51 | Please break the 300!! | mrbeaky
23/9/2021 10:07:18 | Perhaps, just perhaps today's the day! lol | disc0dave45
21/9/2021 20:56:48 | Thanks.It is struggling to break 300. | disc0dave45
21/9/2021 19:10:40 | It was 3 days plus ago disco, Thurs/Fri last week. Value was somewhere over £180K+ from memory but can't remember the exact amounts. There was a wall of stock towards 298-299p. It may have been nibbled away since. It needs new money to come in to push it through 300p convincingly. I have enough of these already. | p1nkfish
21/9/2021 17:31:05 | Many thanks, interesting. How did the limit order volume compare to the ems? (if you got to the limit order value?). | disc0dave45
21/9/2021 15:12:08 | dave45, place increasingly large volume orders at market until they cannot be fillied without performing a limit price. Gives a rough idea of the readily available stock. There was a considerable amount readily available. Did it as a quick test as sitting on a lot of cash, can't do it unless able to fill the order should you place it so decent cash pile helps. It was a large value available. | p1nkfish

19/9/2021 23:06:29 | How would dummy trades tell you that?, interested to understand, thanks. | disc0dave45
18/9/2021 20:29:01 | Did some dummy buys recently and there was a fair volume to get through just sub 300p. Needs a push/ reason. | p1nkfish
18/9/2021 18:43:33 | DD45 thanks for sharing, was giving it a bit more time to nudge over the 300 barrier, but might hold on if there is a rumour of a buy out. | charlie9038
18/9/2021 13:41:43 | Robbie Burns (The Naked Trader) 9th Sept in his update mentioned SPT as follows:Spirent (SPT) looks more and more like a potential bid target to me. It has lots of assets and great potential that others you'd think would want to snap up and I have bought quite a few.Its testing applications have big demand at the moment and it has substantial resources including a giant cash pile.Talked about this one before. Even without a bid it looks to have some superb revenue streams and if it can get above 300p which is a barrier at the mo there could be great upside even without a bid. | disc0dave45
