Yesterday : Warren Buffett took a large stake in Verizon stock while completely ditching the JPMorgan stock, according to a regulatory filing that reveals purchases and sales in the Berkshire Hathaway (BRKB) portfolio of stocks.

Good news since who is among those working for Verizon : Spirent Communications...

As well as the positive outlook report on Tuesday, Canaccord Genuity also upgraded to buy from hold and increased the price target to 275p (from 250p) due to "growth acceleration".Personally I think that in excess of £3 is more likely.

Some weird trading, up 5% Tuesday, down again yesterday, back up today. Like a yo-yo at the moment but hopefully yoyoing higher

Just continuing to add under £2.50 quality stock which will rise again at some point, appears a bit under the radar at the moment but in a hot sector....matter of time!

Yep, I'll probably do nothing as well lol.Have seen it with a few higher rated and 'tech' stocks I hold and when you look at some of the bombed out leisure/travel stocks then it's to be expected - I'm doing the same thing!.Good luck whatever you do, this is a quality stock plodding along and the fall isn't justified IMO.

Yes,its one if those quandries when you wonder whether this is a time to buy or a time to sell which sounds ridiculous!I'll probably do nothing and will revisit when the stock hopefully regains a footing around the 260p mark.

Thanks steeplejack, fair summary and wouldn't disagree......no fundamental reason IMO that this is some 24% below its 52wh other than as you say, some movement to value. Nows the time to top up rather than trim your position IMO.

Chart looks pretty awful with support at 228p which was recently tested.There's been some director buying by Paula Bell back in Nov at 257p ,so not well timed unfortunately.Broker forecasts are generally positive with Liberum having a target price of 310p post trading update on Jan 18.Recent results have been up to expectations with good cash generation suggesting improved dividend policy.The PE rating at around 20 times with a yield of around 2% is alright.Trouble is,there's not too much to get excited about despite the group operating in 5G spectrum.There's clearly a seller out there overhanging the stock,prompted perhaps by tedium.The stocks defensive characteristics are probably being partially eclipsed by a search for bombed out value stocks and a pursuit of new wave stocks like Ceres and ITM.I'll hold for now but opportunity cost considerations suggest it might be time to lighten a few.

It was holding at 260 for a long time, then trading update came out and after this slump downwards.
