Tough to get hold of these!!
I placed a small order (£600 worth) before leaving for work, and just checked back in, and it was filled, so pleased with that.

Looks very good IMHO!

Spectrum launches new WiFi & Blackberry printing service for hotels

This week Spectrum Interactive formally announces PrintSpectrum, a WiFi & Blackberry printing service, at the Hotelypia show, Excel Centre.

This new to the UK service, enables a hotel manager to provide fully managed and controlled, secure printing services to WiFi, Blackberry and other email device users. The service utilises a hotel's existing (internet connected) PC & printer, and Spectrum supplied software. Each hotel is given its own PrintSpectrum web URL and email address, and guests simply forward (or upload to the website) their email or documents that need printing. The resulting prints are securely stored until the guest provides a PIN, and only then can the staff access & print the request. The hotel can offer PrintSpectrum services, as a free service or charge locally for each print. Alternatively the PrintSpectrum website can charge the guest online, enabling the hotel to provide a paid for service, without needing to handle cash payments.

Daniel Gray, Head of Marketing & Product for Spectrum said "This is an exciting new development for WiFi site owners, including hotels, travel locations, cafes & corporate offices. The service is not dependent on the local operator of the WiFi service, and in fact (for Blackberry printing) the site doesn't even need to have WiFi working!"

"PrintSpectrum is sold to the site on an annual licence, and is independent of any other Spectrum service. The service has been exceptionally well received, and we are working on a number of further developments to offer integrated printing into other Spectrum products and services."

"All hotels are now aware of the importance of providing WiFi for laptop users. However hotel staff & their IT managers have for a while been struggling with handling requests for guest printing. Now we have a secure, virus proof, and fully managed solution, thats quick to install, and easy to use!"

With more people staying at Holiday inns as per Inters results should mean more business for Spectrum.
