Hopefully interest rates cut today again, good news for Spectrum if they are.

Got to give it to Spectrum when they get a contract, they get a long one, others in the header until 2014, this new one with Newcastle, until 2015.

Also hardly any "contract churn" I can't remember Spectrum losing one, since they have picked up contracts with Airports, all that seems to have happened is new much longer contracts when due for renewal....speaks very well of Spectrum service & customer relations.

Spectrum Interactive's WiFiSpectrum service is rolled out at Newcastle Airport


Spectrum Interactive plc announce that they are to rollout WiFiSpectrum, their upgraded WiFi product throughout Newcastle International airport.

WiFispectrum will replace the current service provided by T-Mobile. The exclusive contract with Newcastle Airport is for a further 7 years, and includes WiFi, Internet Desks and Payphones.

More to look forward to amongst all the recent contract wins is T5 at Heathrow opening in circa 6-8 weeks and interim results usually March too.

Very interesting they should get Greene King, there is a huge amount of Pub chains out there, any one of them could be another significant deal, for both Wi-fi & the Casino offering.

Spectrum Interactive plc (SIN: LN), the public internet and payphone
operator, announces that it granted yesterday under the EMI Option
Scheme, in aggregate, 745,000 options to certain employees of the
Company. The options are exercisable at 12.25p per share; the first
50 per cent. are exercisable at any time after the first anniversary
of the date of grant and the balance of 50 per cent. at any time
after the second anniversary of the date of grant. No board member
has been granted options as part of this exercise.

I think they are meeting market demand, giving the customer what they want recently signing long term contracts upto 2014. I guess if the clients want different technology, Spectrum will provide.

Hardly a standstill being the biggest UK force in the hotel market, must be doing something right, plus Wi-fi for Spectrum has grown exponently.

This company is running to stand still.
Whilst they are signing WiFi contracts, others are signing contracts for the next generation of 3G which will not require WiFi hotspots any more.
Look forward not backwards!!

Just used their service at a Travelodge - atrocious.
