12/1/2008 13:11 | Don't think you will have too long to wait to be in profit again. I hear that they are also after a contract to update or install on one of the major ferry co's. | battlebus
12/1/2008 10:34 | Well, lets just hope this is the first of many such news items.... Having bought in some time ago at 17p I've got a lot of recovery to wait for... | rbcrbc
12/1/2008 01:01 | Often 'smaller' bits of news appear on the website without RNS. Sometimes it much be touch & go, because, I see the news as quite significant. I guess it saves the cost of a RNS, which I'm all in favour of! | outsider
11/1/2008 21:30 | Why wasn't there an RNS ? | rbcrbc
11/1/2008 12:04 | 11th-January-2008 PRESS RELEASE Spectrum WiFi is going Greene! Spectrum Interactive plc is pleased to announce a new exclusive 3 year agreement to supply WiFi services to 86 Greene King hotels and pubs across the UK. The new contract provides 25 hotels with a chargeable WiFi internet service, and a further 61 pubs in the Greene King estate with free WiFi access to guests using their premises. Mark Lewarne, Spectrum's CEO said, "Greene King is a significant operator in the UK hotel and pub market, and we are delighted to have this opportunity to work with them again and look forward to continuing to develop our business relationship in the future. Daniel Gray, Spectrum's Head of Marketing & Product Innovation said, "This contract required a bespoke solution to meet Greene King's specific requirements in creating onsite, ondemand Access Vouchers. Spectrum had been servicing selected Greene King sites for some time, and after extensive market research Greene King extended it to the whole estate. We believe that Spectrum's scalability and flexibility were crucial factors, as their mix of hotels and pubs required a combination of chargeable and free-to-use WiFi installations. We're excited by this contract, and its new type of voucher application." | outsider

09/1/2008 20:02 | egoi said, "A few of us think it would be nice to see you back on UQ Pete. -;)" I agree it would be nice Peter for yourself and others who no longer / can not post on Unquoted to come back. (with a link to ttp://diaryofanofexp ;-) | tenapen
09/1/2008 18:56 | Not had a reply yet Pete. Will give them a day or two then resubmit email to a different address I have. I think 'our pal' might be shorting certain P-Q stocks by the way; can't be sure but keeping an eye on trades and timings. | egoi
09/1/2008 10:54 | Online can buy 15000 at 12.31p Online can sell 25000 at 11.38p | outsider
08/1/2008 11:02 | ok jim thx. Yes saw Conrads post, if he wants legal action I'm sure Conrad will oblige. | outsider
08/1/2008 11:01 | Seems SIN shares are in online demand again. You can buy only 15k at 0.25p below offer. You can sell 25k at 0.5p over bid offer. Good news! | outsider
08/1/2008 11:00 | Hi BB, yes something we get used to over the years, (I held PHSC in Ofex days!) seems 2008 will be more of the same! Pete, I've emailed UQ asking them to unblock. They aren't the most responsive lot, but I'll post on this thread if I get a reply. PS: Pete I see megastore (not the real egoi lol) has been upsetting Conrad. He (Langdon) was fined for using over 200 names on advfn! | egoi
08/1/2008 10:48 | Yep Egoi as ever the usual retracement in the PHSC shareprice but like SIN a sure long term winner.I had a chance to use the internet at the airport to and from Christmas hols and was very pleased to have to wait in line,if the margins are good profit can't be far away. | battlebus
08/1/2008 10:38 | Ah thanks for that Jim, I can read UQ but can't post as when I previously went to Finfoex, they disabled part of my account and it's still the same! If they fix it, I'll post! Yes was delighted to see them win, was going to stay up, but 7.45am is 3.45am in the morning here the following day! So a great surprise to see the 2-1 victory & reading the Torquay board, it sounds, Burton were well organized & defended well & took their chances well. Happy New Year to you too Jim, I think a challenging one as far as Stockmarkets are concerned but I think or at least hope we will all rise to the challenge! | outsider
08/1/2008 10:30 | Aha there must be something good if Outsider and Battlebus are both holding! Need to have a look....... (Expecting that PHSC RNS re completed acqusiition any day BB). Pete I don't want to get the engineer in trouble as he told me; but I was at Stansted - and it was the 50cent coin that was working as a quid - not that I...... -:) A few of us think it would be nice to see you back on UQ Pete. -;) And Happy New Year, I saw the Brewers winning on the box last night! | egoi
08/1/2008 10:21 | Ah life...Happy new year BB! | outsider
08/1/2008 10:20 | No not a chance of that, just patiently waiting for next results. | battlebus
08/1/2008 09:54 | Everyone sold out? Am I alone again? | outsider
08/1/2008 07:54 | Btw although not good for passengers, recent delays are very good for Spectrum at Airports. | outsider
08/1/2008 07:42 | Further to egoi's post, I asked Spectrum about the situation and got this reply: Peter Our euro rate is 2=£1. There are a few desks that for hardware reasons do actually accept 1=£1 ... but not many, so not treated as an issue. Our airport engineers are doing double checks throughout their visits this week - but all are reporting "no issue" so far. Also FYI we get v.low euro usage. They asked which airport & desk you were at Jim. | outsider
06/1/2008 03:12 | Catching up after being in a province in Asia over the holidays, good to see Airport strikes called off, they probably prompted the share price fall, but as of yet no recovery>>>>>>>>>>.. UK airport strike called off By John Willman, Business Editor Published: January 1 2008 13:01 | Last updated: January 1 2008 13:01 A 24-hour strike planned for Monday at the UK's largest airports has been called off after BAA, which operates the airports, reached agreement with the unions over negotiations on its plan to close the final salary pension scheme to new members. The strike was the first of three planned for this month by 5,000 staff, including essential safety personnel, at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports. Following last-ditch talks on New Year's Eve, the unions called off Monday's walk-out by firefighters, security, maintenance, administrative and clerical staff which was expected to lead to the cancellation of all flights at the seven airports. BAA agreed to withdraw the plan pending three months of negotiations with the unions over the future of its pension scheme. If the agreement reached between the two sides is endorsed by meetings of union representatives, the other two strikes will also be called off. The second, again for 24 hours, was scheduled for January 14, followed by a 48-hour strike on January 17. Both sides will meet again on Friday. | outsider
27/12/2007 08:51 | Another 19000 buy this am, that's 100k in last 2 trading days. Interest rates are down which is good for profits, the dealys at the airports will more than ofset any ind action imo.....extra use of inernet. Furthermore I'm glad about no aquisition if they need one they should wait till the paper is much higher & then issue paper, rather than go in debt. | outsider
