No nothing else really nico. They already have it in their portfolio with an entry price of 148p.
The 10.5x was excluding the 32.6p of cash on the b/s.

Volume is very low but then it’s going to be as shares are so tightly held, free float must be less than 20% I would guess. The tips will no doubt help to bring Spectra to more peoples attention which would be good. Can’t understand why Katie Potts has never added here especially when the price was sub 140. Fingers crossed that it’s a belter of a year here though, easily my largest position.

Spectra is good to excellent on so many fronts ... an excellent hedge on the dollar ... excellent visibility on forward earnings ... no debt and plenty of cash .... excellent moat and barriers to competition and at anytime can surprise us with any number of blue sky ideas ... this is my number one share.... and until it gives me a reason to stop holding .... its an easy hold for me.... Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all holders old and new ....

225p would put it on a forward p/e of x20 (excluding cash) not impossible but doubtful until the markets turn?

I suspect as sonofa keeps inferring, that news flow will be the catalyst for the re-rate.

In the meantime we inch another year closer to 2025 where forecasts for the good increase dramatically, so I guess its not impossible for the market to start pricing this in 2 years in advance through 2023?

It will be interesting to see if a breakout is confirmed in the next day and half of trading if so we could have a nice rise especially with the new interest in Spectra and the fact that traders like trading breakouts... also interesting is that we have had no RNS for over two months now .... The last time this happened was over four years ago.

Interesting to know .... l was getting quoted for 80,000 shares at just over 1.65 and 40,000 shares at 1.6745 .... not seen that for a while , so someone is interested.

Yes happened too me ... l eventually got a nice refund to my pension and some nice cheques for my ISA and trading account .... amazing how the 8 percent compounded for 4 years increased the final amount ..... good to see Spectra at a year high especially at Christmas and glad l was able to add at the year lows earlier this year .
