Doesn't that $1.3m extra R&D payment now fall to the bottom line in H2? As all that work has been done already, in H1 and before, and the cost was recognised in those prior periods?

Doubt it's 1m bucks as nabil will use this money to increase wages.I'm excepting 5 to 8 pct upgrades which is fantastic. How many other Aim companies are increasing profits in this climate .Still my favourite stock on Aim.A sleep easy stock

That is an excellent announcement and must lead to upgrades for 23 and beyond of a decent percentage. My maths gets to an extra $1m a year at least. Maybe the one off payment has some profit element too which would maybe nudge up 22. All in all they are in a good place. Now if we can win a decent bit of brand authentication business in the near term. That would be a cracking end to the year.

And not a bad update .... 1.3 million development cost plus a potential to increase prices by 21 percent on revenues of 5.9 million ..sounds meaty to me.

Where is there any evidence of '' forced sellers '' in SPSY?

the fact is we haven't had buying pressure for a long time now, despite the CEO claiming the stock ws worth 240p, 18 months ago?

That's down to news flow.

The market is more about investor liquidity at the moment. Fund managers and some PI’s need cash. It usually takes a few weeks for things to settle down after a shakeout we have seen in last few weeks.

Great time to have some cash to take advantage of forced sellers.

Is the investor base predominantly UK?

I wonder with reference to the above comments why they do not pay a large special divi to get rid of some of the large unused cash balance which would certainly keep us happy and no-doubt attract others in??

Madness to drop 3 percent with a 3 percent drop in the pound .... we are now getting an extra 30 percent on the dividend from last year .....

The pound is down to a new low of 113. Spectra in my opinion one of best hedges against a falling pound which is only going in one direction for the time being ... at some stage this will get noticed and l will continue to add when funds allow .....

FWIW the market to me doesn't seem to be valuing any stocks more than a year in advance.

However, is that a reflection of the number of growing short term traders and a seemingly reducing number of long term investors?

During the halcyon growth years and up until pre-Covid the stock generally traded on a x22 FORWARD p/e , supported by regular ''significantly ahead of expectations'' RNS's so I would agree on a 240/250p share price currently, with significant growth in the years following, but clouded that they will not be recurring?

Then we still have the blue sky opportunities.
