Sorry to hear that 1AX.
I actually bought a further 12,000 today and quite frankly was the only buyer pretty much.
MM's certainly had fun with 12,500 bought and under 10k sold but somehow the shares fell again.

I have a few more to buy and pleased with the progress the company is making this last 12 months.

RoleyBirkin as I said earlier never much transparency here. Sold down my stake so very little exposure but a loss is never good, and I am still losing.

Funny you should say that shimmy, but I raised that with the company and there answer was succinctly that they sought advice and were advised all would be positive.

Post consolidation is never good for any share price.

What is done is done, and the consolidation has taken place.
The key now is that the company continue to progress driving sales and thus revenues.
Very little to go on for the 1st half that finishes in a couple of weeks.

What we do know is that the company reported "January and February remained affected in both the UK and Germany"
but then went on to state "but we are now seeing a revival in business interest across all sectors in which we operate"

So I am pencilling in around £2.5m of revenues for 1st half...

The maximum loss for any holding from the consolidation is 9 (old) shares, worth £1.50. If your shareholding is of a size that a loss of £1.50 is significant, then maybe investing isn't the game for you :-)GLA

Interesting to see what the MM's open up at?
At the closing price of 13.50 - 14.50 on SETS or 13.75 - 14.20 on the RSP you would think an opening price may be-
137 - 143
Crazy to think there are only 1,951,957 shares in issue....
Have you ever seen a listed company with so few shares?

Yes I also don't understand why they needed to consolidate, I can think of many AIM companies trading at a fraction of a penny where consolidation is needed. It would be nice if the company would give us the reason !!!

My only real concern is why consolidate?
Only 19,519,563 shares in issue and soon to be 1,951,956 or thereabouts.
Would be good to understand the rationale.

Exactly, it’s a consolidation as opposed to a share split.

If you hold 29 shares you will now hold 2 is my understanding.

The resolution was passed at yesterday's AGM.
No idea why the company have chosen this path, as they will be left with just
1,951,956 shares in issue and some poor soul/s will lose up to 9 shares each...

SAL have been suspended pending a share consolidation - 10 existing for 1 new share.

Don't think it's that. Stock consolidations don't require suspensions. And the text said "announcement" to come.
