Been N/T to buy at 11p for ages now. Typical mm's kill the action and wait for some holders to run out of patience and bail them out

The first more important thing you need to know about shares at the moment is they do not need a reason to go nuts. GST £1 mil cap...does a £200k placing at 0.1p...price spikes to 4.5p and over £50 mil cap in a month...

I suspect that when brand owners/clients want to benefit from the release of the 'coiled spring' economy and property owners want to maximise revenue follow many failed retailers that have left gaps in their shopping centres, then the expectation is revenue will quickly pick up. The share price is still very low after all.

Like you 25th I cannot discern any reason as to why this share is rising, there have been no company announcements or reports on how they are currently trading. This sector will take some time before it starts to recover to anything like where it was previously. If anybody can get out now with a profit IMO I would do so.

I still hold a number of these shares but sold out of the bulk of my holding. I am struggling to find a reason why the share price will increase. Appreciate that finance is there but is there a business model that works, especially when they are likely to remain without income for another good few months.....I wish them well but have my doubts as to how well they will do in the future

On a little bit of a roll today and has been edging up this month. And I cannot get a quote to buy even 5000 so if this spikes the herd will pile in and take it higher I hope. Be nice to get a 50-100% profit out of this one

I've been tempted to buy some in my ISA and Pension so as to boost demand via pension and cash in via ISA - a way of getting money out of your pension - pump and dump within your own holdings. Could be a bit risky? But such a small co you can shift price quite easily.

When it moves it can be so illiquid. I cannot get a quote to buy 5000 shares at 10p atm Obviously it works both ways it can hard to sell at times too

Refinanced so a bit more headroom. Santander seem supportive. Price up 10% or so.

profdoc I agree with your rationale. How quickly COVID restrictions are removed will dictate if this business survives. It would be good to see Directors surrendering salary or put on furlough to give them more time. The debt has grown to keep the fat cats fed and the road to recovery's become longer and more bumpy.....

I would appreciate your opinions on this. Back of the envelope estimates: Even under furlough SAL has to pay NIC and pension contributions - say £700,000 pa. It will have cash flowing out for other things, e.g. directors salaries, office rent, travel, broadband. So say total cash outflow is (very roughly) around £130,000 per month (compared with around £360,000 pm in 2019). With £1.3m working capital headroom it has cash enough for another 10 months of survival. Footfall returning to normal levels?? 6 months? 10 months? End of furlough?? 3 months? 6 months?

topvest unfortunately I think you are correct. Not even sure there is anyone daft enough to buy them on the cheap and I cannot see a MBO! Terrible shame as a number of years ago they seemed to have the world at their feet. Market dominance and overseas expansion but that has all faded away like a British seaside resort......

Well I have given up on this one and sold my small holding in some year-end portfolio tidying. I should have sold a long time ago, as its been badly impacted by technological obsolescence over the last five years or so. A 90% loss in the end, before some dividends, so probably about 80-85% down overall. It was a nice little company at one stage and has done the right things, but you can't push water uphill. The force of technological change has just over-powered them with Covid-19 providing the perfect storm to finish the job off. For what its worth, I think the future here is very bleak. The H1 results were terrible and H2 is likely to be truly awful. Its difficult to see the balance sheet position being robust enough for them to survive.

4 tier lockdown - Pop-up shops and short term lets now out of the question. SAL (imo) is likely to be amongst the walking dead until full vaccination achieved - The BIG question is Can it survive to take advantage of a possible spending binge once & if the shopping population are safely released from the lockdown - or will the virus mutate faster than the vaccines can counter it?

you can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig. The game of stock market pass the parcel continues. When the music stops count your loses (or gains).

Looks as though heading back to sub 6p fast - Still lockdowns - So (imo) limited demand for pop-up=venues - Also no indication of length of contracts
