robbothered: Not sure why it is thought that their customer base will be returning any time, in volume, before Q4. Many of the larger agencies that use S&P still have staff on furlough and this is likely to continue until September. 1AX not too sure about your merger option, the industry relies mainly on contacts, not contracts. Also cannot see SAL dipping into their empty pockets to be able to buy or consolidate with any other industry players.

michaelmouse: Probably missed by a few since this was released at midday today:- hTTps://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/SAL/retail-profile-germany-ece-contract-renewal/14966671 Excellent news again from SpaceandPeople with a five year renewal of a contract with their biggest German client. SAL is still valued at less than £3m, but will rebound strongly this year. Some of their competition will also have disappeared in 2020. Nancy Cullen, CEO of SpaceandPeople said: "This renewal of our commercial partnership with ECE, our largest client in Germany is a fantastic result for the Group and is testament to the great work that the management team in Germany have delivered over the past years. This Agreement will enable us to trade profitably without large minimum guarantees and expand the amount of business we do with ECE."

kangaroo joe: I follow on SAL on LinkedIn and a message popped up from Nancy, the CEO, stating they are excited to announce a new contract I think with various shopping centres offering opportunities for 11.6m footfall to any brand owners etc wanting roadshows, promotions, etc. Not on RNS or anything but I guess it may come up tomorrow. Or was this already announced? It includes Bristol, Metro centre, Leeds, plus loads of other cities.

terminator101: Another total pump and dump. Especially with that tool riddler pumping this on LSE and twitter. Caveat emptor, but SAL must be hemmoraging cash with shopping centres shut. What possible space can they be selling. Low margin business in any case.

profdoc: I would appreciate your opinions on this. Back of the envelope estimates: Even under furlough SAL has to pay NIC and pension contributions - say £700,000 pa. It will have cash flowing out for other things, e.g. directors salaries, office rent, travel, broadband. So say total cash outflow is (very roughly) around £130,000 per month (compared with around £360,000 pm in 2019). With £1.3m working capital headroom it has cash enough for another 10 months of survival. Footfall returning to normal levels?? 6 months? 10 months? End of furlough?? 3 months? 6 months?

pugugly: 4 tier lockdown - Pop-up shops and short term lets now out of the question. SAL (imo) is likely to be amongst the walking dead until full vaccination achieved - The BIG question is Can it survive to take advantage of a possible spending binge once & if the shopping population are safely released from the lockdown - or will the virus mutate faster than the vaccines can counter it?

knownowt: The brokership has changed because Cantor Fitzgerald has withdrawn from Corporate Finance. I notice that one of the names on the announcement was on all the previous announcements from Cantors which indicates to me that SAL has moved with its advisor and doesn't presage a placing - but I could be wrong!
