Hi Skyline,

Been away from the markets / threads for three weeks now since the birth of my new daughter.

The Coventry result will prove costly as it allows others like Sunderland etc to come alongside in the play off places.

Todays win is great but to be honest the play offs are our only hope and I would not bet on that at this stage.

The Crows Nest. I thought that place would have been closed down by now due to the riff raff that use it.....LOL

Just when Saints are down they win 5 - 2 ...and now 4th with a few other leading clubs facing 6 pointers or so a bloke in Crows Nest told me !

Well I guess after todays result I think it is fair to say that we are not good enough to go up.

Still coming away with nothing when we should get 1 point and most of the time only taking 1 point when we should get 3.

With no decent transfer activity in January we have a side that is above average for this league but without Bale in the premiership we have nothing to look forward to should we against all odds make it.

Well having gone out of the cup ( fully expected being away to a premiership club ) we have bounced straight back with a nice 2-1 win.

Shame we blew it last time we played them and only got the 1 point!!

Looking at the table I still feel that the play off's is the best we can hope for but a win over Derby may help to change my mind.

The ref helped us today having just watched the goals. In most cases that would go against us and we would end up with 1 point and not 3. That is why I think we will end up in the play off's but I hope you are right though.

the two subs with 15 minutes to go made a huge difference today ...Burley knows what spare fire power to bring on with a tied game ..its not done and dusted yet !
