11/5/2005 05:15 | r33 - former Weymouth lad me. What will the shares do if Saints stay up - maybe jump to 30-35p early Monday? One for the brave or fanatical buying now, I'd say... I never invest in football teams, could be an interesting punt at the bookies though. Crouch appeal rejected. ManU beaten at home 3-1 by Chelsea. Who knows what'll happen on Sunday? But Saints had a good run there for 27 years... :0) | taurusthebear
10/5/2005 16:56 | All to play for but im not buying the shares either. You guys local ? | r33skyline
10/5/2005 10:13 | i think that charlton will beat palace - local derby, charlton desperate to finish with a win at home after v disappointing run. | rambutan2
10/5/2005 07:41 | OK, so if Norwich win, they stay up, but they haven't won an away game all season. If West Brom beat Pompey (more likely), Saints will need to beat ManU. Certainly, as all the games are simultaneous, Saints can afford nothing less than 3 points, they'd be the luckiest team around if they stay up after drawing... Can they do it? Well, Norwich beat ManU 2-0 the other week, ManU won't exactly be stretching themselves prior to the Cup Final. Saints have everything to play for, Crouchies sending-off is being appealed, Camara and Phillips are the men, if they get the service. And Palace need to beat Charlton, away, by 2 more goals than Saints need to beat ManU by, in order to overtake them on GD. Having said all that, and as much as I'd love Saints to stay up, I won't be buying the shares. As a betting man, I see more chance of Saints going down! :-( | taurusthebear
09/5/2005 13:00 | well done gunners. so, its all in our hands. wish it was at the dell... | rambutan2 |
