george burley and sir clive will make a great team

Something in the Daily Echo today about a million pound share deal so I have been told.

As this is my club and my City feel that with Lowe out of the picture and Sir Clive things can turn and we can push for promotion next season.
Burley has to stay and the good football that we showed at the start of the second half against Newcastle can be improved on. Shame about our keeper being out for the rest of the season.

LONDON (AFX) - Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC, the parent company of Southampton Football

Club, said that members of the family of major shareholder and director Paul Thompson and companies beneficially owned by them have sold 2,542,737 shares in the company, which represents approximately a 9 pct stake. Southampton added that no notice of a disclosable interest has been received from any purchaser.

Any idea who he might have sold to - price has been solid and this lot traded at 50p yesterday so someone was keen.

For those wanting to watch the current takeover rumours and effect on charts

personally, seem like there is no interest at all from the trades - are these closely held by directors etc? maybe someone more local can comment. not sure it is one to speculate on - seems pretty dull to me

I will look on SFC discussion thread for answers

Harry must be happy now he is involved and sorting out the transfers at Pompey, I dont think RL would let do that at Saints.
