Hopefully Brasil is behind LGB now but no complaints if Saints aquire a few.

To be honest i don`t think Harrys connections go that far.But never say never

There`s a chance Harry played the youth team tonite

The first team have looked quite strong so far ,certainly not doom & gloom.

hi r33, yes, ive been struggling to get back into football what with the cricket and sunny days still around. but at least theyve managed a reasonable start to the season, so not too dispirited - yet.

Well, there was the bid from a consortium including David Frost and Gavin Davies ???( the ex Salomons or Goldman Sachs partner and Govmt adviser ) who I think went to Southampton Uni and is a mad keen Saints supporter. I wonder if this is still in the offing and it could allow Lowe to leave with his ego intact and at an acceptable profit

Not sure about the mortgage on the ground, although its easy to see total debt/liabilities from the last set of results.

I confess that I'm still learning about this one and how footie club accounts work exactly. However, I remain convinced, that if Man United are worth £800M, the Saints are worth considerably more than £8M. There must be dozens of multi-millionaires (including recently retired footie players) based on the south coast who would love to own one of the ultimate rich boys toys, i.e. a classy football club such as SOO
