04/5/2023 10:51 | Graham Lyon, Executive Chairman said: " 2022 was a year of real tangible progress for Sound Energy, with the micro-LNG development at Tendrara contracted to deliver maiden revenues in early 2024. I am pleased that, as we move further into construction activities, the Company continues to uphold all our ESG values and deliver our work in a manner commensurate with our principles. We are pleased to have settled our outstanding tax matters such that we can optimise our resources on field development. We have enjoyed a supportive working relationship with ONHYM, the Ministry and our various contractors in Morocco, and, most importantly, we continue to benefit from the hard work and dedication of our own staff. We will continue to work diligently to deliver value and progress for all our stakeholders during 2023 and beyond as we target to deliver material developments." | napoleon 14th
04/5/2023 07:25 | Wow, all tax claims seem to have been settled in the 3 days!!! Major news."Post period end, in May 2023, the Company entered into a phased payment schedule with Morocco tax authority for full and final settlement of the tax cases for undiscounted amount of approximately $2.45m (£2.0m). The discounted amount is approximately $1.97 (£1.63m) with a current liability of approximately $152k (£126k) and non current liability of approximately $1.82m (£1.5m) (note 4). The tax settlement is subject to the Court agreeing that the cases can be withdrawn." | b33661

25/4/2023 10:54 | So, I am going to pull the rabbit out the hat and ask the question we all want answered. Today is the 25th. Will Friday see us with a route to first gas or another can kick? Looking at the site preparation (a lot of cash being spent here) and I would hope some of he long lead equipment is in order by this time, I would say we are very very close to agreement or we have one. Let's hope that should they need more time it's only a matter of a week and not another 3 months or....... | telbap

20/4/2023 13:17 | @steelwatch, Agreed, it's the one thing, outside of the vat issue, that will help the share price get moving. Harva, they cannot commit to that which is not set in stone or is outside of their control, so that's pretty much everything at the minute! Once we have the finding, I feel we will see some nicely presented flow charts with a path to production laid out. I remember the date picture days of the gherkin and all the other pump up puff that JP wheeled out after, I even recall him saying at the gherkin, let's keep the flare picture up on the presentation wall.......he knew. Still, here we are, and with some more reasoned hands at the wheel, we can but hope that we will end up with a productive company and a better share price | telbap
