I disagree ST8000, I've been bearish on this stock for ages, it would have been very valuable to have listened to that point of view

That's the same thing telbap! Very poor mgt is the reason, there are NO excuses for these incredible timelines (only matched by the dilution path), other than things really aren't that good as people seem to think!

I think some aggressive director buying in the market across the company board will see some confidence return to the SP, maybe encouraging some new pi blood into the stock and also encouraging existing pi's to buy more.

Sound we're supposed to have one new drill by the end of 2022, itself hugely delayed from prior ramped timelines. Does anyone see this going ahead or is this just yet another Sound miss....?

Oh and number 4. 4. The £18-20m debt SOU has on its books right now. You do the maths on all the above actual or contingent liabilities and there's zero equity value left. The Moroccan authorities will step in and the everything back soon imho

Can anyone show a vaguely plausible route to SOU securing the below?1. General G&A costs, per the company these will need to be raised well before April23. In my mind it would need to a placing, and a placing the size of the last raise for G&A at this price level would result in a 25% plus dilution to existing shareholders!!2. The £60m company funding of Phase 2. Where's this coming from? How much security / blood & flesh will a lender demand right now?3. The £20m plus tax claims should the company lose those appeals, which I'd suspect is what the market expects now.None of these are affordable, a placing isn't possible without wiping existing SH out. That is why there's selling, it reflects the complete lack of faith or delivery by current and past management

The problem with this company is that there is literally no one left with any conviction or faith in mgt to deliver. The stock is down 17-18% today and no aggressive bargain hunting at all. In the next 2-3 months a placing is needed per the company's own guidance to keep the G&A funded and lights on. Then with the market cap now sub-15m how on Earth is it supposed to raise 60m funding for phase 2? The company has zero leverage and is incredibly weak in the face of tough negotiations. I'd expect this will mean phase 2 isn't possible now, no one will get into bed with a business in such a weak position imho. The end is nigh and people are realising it

If companies were valued on zero value add admin, treading water and wasting share holder cash, SOU would be more valuable than Amazon in my humble opinion. Unfortunately in the real world the exact opposite it true....

Lols like we are being laddered down. Just watching the trades for today, plenty large round figure selling, will expect to see a short interest declared in Novembers lists

Looks like sub 1p is coming, at 0.5p I thinks it would be more than worth a £1k punt, let's see how low she can go

Down the plug hole. This stock is a gonna now. No progress, creeping very poor news in RNSs now, drip drip. Graham is terrible now, no progress, nothing positive, blame others / external factors that are now 12-18 months past. There's no value here, no sign of strength and we're negotiating phase 2 in that position. I'm out.

Draw a line on a chart from 2016/17 to today, look at the direction and scale of the change in share price. That's merely a function of the delivery and performance of this company. It's down down down, and still is.

More at https://www.malcysblog.com/2022/09/oil-price-sound-igas-longboat-reabold-uog-and-finally/"There is no change from the fiscal risk and situation of a year ago and the tax case is now likely to go the full course through the courts which could take a year or more. All for a dormant Moroccan company with no assets and no recourse to Sound plc in UK. "No assets, and no recourse to Sound Plc UK. No one has taken away the LNG plant, no one taken away the gas to that plant.
