Looks well supported at this level. Upwardly mobile on any news now?

This stock's been a sleeper for a while. But the story goes on quietly improving. I hope BP wasn't too much of a distraction!

Need some news.... apart from the BP stuff it’s been quiet on the RNS front. Hopefully something big is brewing. In any case we are less than 8 weeks away from confirming a 2018 exit rate of 8kboepd.

Buffet once described the stockmarket as a mechanism for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.

"SDX has a strong track record of delivering results for its shareholders,"

But so did COP, right up to the moment that it changed to POP.

Plus the fact that OIL and GAS have increased steadily over the last 12months or so. Very frustrating to see the share price in the 40 ies ,
Still waiting for the quid a share! tedious to say the least. gla holders

I am really missing why this company is so unloved. Here is PW attending investment day yesterday.

hxxps://www.weare121.com/121oilgasinvestment-london/sdx-energy/

What is your rationale for attending 121 Oil & Gas Investment?

Continuing to raise the profile of SDX amongst investors, a company with a strong track record for delivering results and that is well placed to capitalise on acquisition opportunities in N. Africa.

What recent news would you like to highlight to investors attending?

H1 results: Netback/gross profit of $19.3MM up by US$6.3MM (48%) over 2017
-Cash generated from operations increased by $9.2MM (83%) over 2017
-Current entitlement production up by 1,210 boepd(37%) to 4,444 boepd
-20 of 23 (87%) recently drilled wells were successful

Entered into credit facility with EBRD in Morocco for US$10MM

Plan to double production during 2018, exit rate of +/- 8000 boepd

What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?

3 Months:

Double corporate production in 2018

Targeting increase in gas sales volumes to 8-10 MMscfd in Morocco

Complete construction of SD-1X processing facility, targeting first gas by end of 2018

6 Months:

Planning for the mobilisation of equipment for a further drilling campaigns in 2019 in Morocco & Egypt

12 Months:

Continue to review and explore opportunities to expand the asset base in the North Africa region, including through new licencing rounds and acquisitions

Become a full cycle E&P with production in excess of 75kboe/d

What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?

Oil price drop – SDX has low operating costs at c.$US 10 per barrel, which makes the Company less vulnerable to a oil price crash. SDX also has a very robust financial position, with US$25.2million of cash and no debt.

In-country issues – SDX operates in Egypt, a country with a stable government focused on economic growth, and Morocco, which has one of the best fiscal regimes in the industry and a gas market significantly under-served by domestic production

Loss of customers – SDX has contracts in place for 5-10 years on recent gas sales agreements

In a sentence, what do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?

SDX has a strong track record of delivering results for its shareholders, is in excellent financial shape with no debt and US$25MM in cash and has an active work program with lots of catalysts for investors.

Guys don't encourage him he's clearly just trolling.

PJ, happy to make a little wager with you - if it hits 33p by the end of the year I'll pay £500 to charity of your choice and if doesn't you'll do the opposite. Fancy putting your money where your mouth is?

If not, stfu
