Similar question. How mature were conversations when we were suspended? How close are we to news?

Nothing about timelines should be price sensitive as we are suspended anyway, and won’t be out of suspension until they have news!

I can see that HA mentioned an investor meeting in 6998, but I can't find any announcement of it, or any details, from the company, which is odd.

Yes please ask the obvious question which I would phrase as 'roughly how long before any news on what is going on behind the scenes?'. They may well not answer or may say something which would be better than nothing at all.
Failing that I would ask what are BP's assets in Egypt and see which they mention first which may give a clue.

Nothing in particular - but any hints around BP assets, suspension being lifted etc.

Guess they wont be able to say much, if anything, but anything around this would be useful. After all the rumor mill is very quiet.

Ah, Shakeypremis you are clearly an experienced AIM investor. Or perhaps pigs will fly over Battersea power station, and SDX will at the same time announce a huge increase in Moroccan and SD reserves via the Competent Persons Report; further drilling success and with oil for a change; a dividend for existing shareholders; no share dilution; and that it is moving from AIM to the main market . . .

Well, I thought you might have known if you were saying SDX won't get more than BP and I never said I thought SDX would get more than BP either. I think you are definitely right in saying that they won't get more than BP, but if BP get significantly more for gas than we are currently expecting sdx to get then perhaps there is room for SDX to get a little better than $2.65/mcf and no I don't think it's irrelevant. Even an extra 20c/mcf would make a difference.

milking an old cow is profitable only if one is diligent and the cow is bought very cheap. meaning leverage and performance related payments. it is not about having another cow. also - Egypt is on a good path to become gas self sufficient which will impact pricing in the long term. good export contracts would be wellcome.
