All this growth achieved despite the MOJ contract kicking in.

I like this bit in the statement:

I can report ongoing dialogue with potential acquisition targets, productive conversations with new product manufacturers, and encouraging new client and cross-selling initiatives.

Bound to be a pull-back at some stage. After all this has had a fine run of late.

Seems like a good opportunity to me.

Marked down on puny volume of just 800.

edit. 12k volume now. Moving back down to my buying levels.

I also bought @625p the other week and have added since. Bought more today too.

Think they still offer very good value with a forward multiple of 12.

Seems every small buy moves the price up. :-)

Ticking along nicely, managed to get some at 625p the other week as a start, may drip feed more funds in the near term.

The spread is a bit of a pain though.

Im in as of today.

Was looking at the Trading update this morning and just assumed with the ticker - SOLI and the (according to ADVFN) short share price track record, that it was a new issue. Yet i did have SSP on my watchlist with a view to buy in and hadn't realised that it had changed ticker.

Stoopid me! :-)

It was actually another investor - Saucepan - who pointed out what was what. So a thankyou to him.

Anyway, a forward pe of around 12 looks good value against earnings that will most likely be upgraded further in time. Plus every chance of further contract wins too makes upgrades more likely still.

Timely creation of a new thread with today's positive trading update.

WH Ireland reiterate their buy recommendation,

Market Cap £50m Price 605p Target Price 650p

Solid has made a good start to the year and reports that interim results (to be issued 24 November) will, as expected, be significantly ahead of the equivalent period last year. This puts the company on track to meet market expectations for the full year.

Following substantial upgrades to forecasts in August due to a major multi-year tagging contract with the UK’s MoJ, Solid trades on just 11.1x FY15 earnings and as such the shares remain firmly in Buying territory.

Interim results will be announced on Monday 24 November 2014.
